[Skimmer speed bug]

Something is seriously wrong with skimmer speeds. They appear fine on water where I have checked, but on land they usually slow down to walking speed for no reason (but sometimes they seem to move at their normal speed instead).

 

An easy place to check is at Fishing Hamlet in Seitung Province - if I approach from the sea, it's fine, if I float around the docks/beach area it seems to be okay on land too, but as I move to the edges of the town into the wilds the skimmer slows down like I enabled walking or like I was pulling heavy objects for certain events.

It's not a memory/length in game issue for me, I'm doing the exact same thing (log in, load Rata Sum, loot daily chest, exit game) and the EU account crashes on exit, if I'm doing it on US accounts they're fine.

The only other difference in my case is that the EU account doesn't have PoF.

This happens to me if I use my EU account, but with the same client using two different US accounts I can exit without issues.

So this is weird, somehow I managed to get a single levelup and the corresponding spirit shard in PoF yesterday, after which the experience bar was locked again.

I better work on my roller beetle collection faster... :angry:

It did not. I'm in the same situation, I'm done with raptor/springer/skimmer/jackal/griffon and crystal champion, and the roller beetle mastery shows up locked, which blocks me from getting XP/spirit shards in PoF/LS4 zones.

Yeah, using a GTX 1080 too, I just looked at a loading screen to some unpopulated map for 90 seconds, which used to take about 10 to 15? I don't even know, it was so fast I never had a reason to check but now I'm sitting there watching the models counter go up extremely slowly while the map load info says assets are 100% loaded for most of the time. This is pretty awful.
