NOW... before you do this.  please understand that this will reset your hardware settings but you will also need to re-enter your login credentials if they are saved (this should only take you about 30 seconds if you're like me and forgot them and had to reset them, but still).   However as soon as you fire up the client again, the folder will be re-created and populated.

 

Hit windows key.

type "run" - hit enter

type %appdata%/Guild Wars 2/

 

Delete this folder.

 

Fire up the client,  sign in,  and hit play.    The client SHOULD execute as normal.  You may have to go in and adjust your hardware settings to your personal preference rather than the software's detected automatic settings, but you can do that as normal in the settings menu.

Hello everyone,

I usually play gw2 with a really old computer that has an intel core i7, and integrated graphics card (really nothing special). But I can play really smooty with it.

For xmas I decided to buy a new gaming laptop: Asus Rog Strix G15 with GPU RTX2060, and CPU i7 10th generation, I mean, a really great PC for its specs.

I dowloaded gw2, but I keep have lags that do not allow me to play properly to the game.I tried with both best performance and best appeareance specs (also autodetect), nothing to do.

Anyone is possibly able to give me any suggestion to properly play better with GW2?I do not have any kind of problem on playing other games as per Witcher 3, PSO2, and Destiny 2.

I would love to have more choices at once, to play conquest, deathmatch, and even stronghold based on my daily mood! (As lots of other games already does)

Hello,I tried to register a new account, but each time I try there was this "Unspecified Error".I tried with 2 different mails (gmail and outlook) and with both the same issue.

The strange thing is that then I tried to log in on the ANET web page, and actually it worked!So I verified my mail, and I tried to log in on the GW2 client, and this is what I got

Now, it looks to me that account is registered as ANET but not as a GW2 account, is anyone able to help me through?
