The Grand High Viscount of Candy Corn, the Skeletal Lich, and the Labyrinthine Horror have had their health and damage scaling per player lowered and their base health and damage increased to provide a more even challenge across group sizes.

Basically, these bosses were weaker the less people were there to fight them and got way stronger as the group grew. Now its the other way around, they're stronger when a small group fights them, but weaker when you fight them with a squad.

Interesting to see that. Because it felt like Steve got a hard buff on everything, while Viscount and Lich got nerfed. But that's going purely on feeling. Although I feel like Steve should get a nerf. I know, I know, jokes, memes, "Horror" should be scary, etc. But he feels like a very long, boring nuisance currently :(

  2. Did Steve (aka Labyrinthine Horror) get a buff this year?I've been playing Halloween every year, but this years it feels like Candy boss and Lich go down in a matter of moments, while Steve requires a tremendous amount of time, slowing down farm quite a lot. Not to mention that half of the squad gets downed, due to popular low-damage builds, or removing trinkets, to allow all members to tag mobs.

  3. newest (from 2020 Four Winds festival) Zephyr Scaffolding guild hall decoration seems to have a bugged texture/model. There are two scaffoldings on top of each other, one with very buggy low-resolution, merged together into one object. Would be great if the "low res" version could get removed, leaving only the High-resolution model.

  4. Hi all, I would like to show you guys a bugged model of a new festival decoration - Zephyr Scaffolding. I'm sure not many players are dabbling in scribing and decorating, so it probably went under radar, but some time ago I crafted a new decoration for my hall and it's model is totally bugged. There are 2 models merged together into one object. And to make things worse, one of them, which is the most visible one, has the lowest possible texture quality. I'm playing on "High" settings, and this is what I see:

The decorations itself has a very wonky collision boundaries as well, making the object quite "unusable". Would be lovely if ANet could remove the "low resolution" model visible on top.

Perhaps you are onto something! GW2 does, indeed, swap models for HD version upon getting closer. It does in fact look like in this instance, the low-resolution and high-resolution pieces got merged together as one asset. I hope someone from ANet team will notice this post and fix it, so only the HD bridge will remain :'(

Sadly it's not the case! You can encouter this model in game in a lot of places, and very often it's being used as a path/bridge, on normal, playable maps. The top view is its "main" view. That's this model's purpose, to walk on it. But in the normal game, it has a much better quality, just like the layer underneath the pixelated texture, visible on my screenshots. The HD texture is still present, just covered with low-res mess :(

  7. Can you look into pop-ups notifications for new players please? Talking about Core Tyria Mastery Points here.

My friend began his journey with GW2 not so long ago, hit level 80, and was almost going to drop the game because he was bombared with "spend your mastery points" pop-ups, while having his Mastery Page LOCKED. He was unable to spend points he gathered by doing personal story, and yet the game notified him about it permanently.

Only solution given online is to start Heart of Thorns or Path of Fire story, that unlocks Mastery panel, which we both found ridiculous, given that he didn't even complete his Personal Story yet.

Please, consider either A) adding a toggle to completely remove pop-up windows, B.) lower their frequency (once per session?), or C) fix the Mastery panel, so that it doesn't inform about points, that new players are unable to spend. Thank you.
