Its something different and I'm really enjoying it. During tower/keep defense I switch to ren with shortbow. Also use ren for alac with catas and rams.
Almost forgot. I use this in fractals as well. 90% boon duration with pot. In a group I dont have to babysit and can dps, I normally do 15k. Average power alacs I've run with in pugs do around 8k.
I mistakenly didn't add that I don't run herald in fractal's, just alac ren. I meant to say I use the cele gear in fractals too.
When I say power alac does 8k, I'm talking about the total dps report at the end of a fractal run. Very rare for power alac to do over 10k from what I've seen. I had a good group last night and did 20k on a run, it just depends. Every time that staff comes out, or camping Mallyx for boon strip, dps goes down.

lol knew i was missing something. Thanks guys

After some fractals with the new ambush skill, I was looking through the skills again and noticed these two. Mesmer has 5 mainhand weapons but this lists 7 different ambush skills? Is there something I've missed or did this get slipped in with the last patch mistakenly?
Dagger storm being interrupted all the time?

I've got back into playing my thief the last few days. I've noticed that my dagger storm is getting interrupted all the time now. Last time was shocking aura from weaver, time before that was Dragon's Maw trap on DH. Has there been a change to evades that I didn't notice since I've been playing other classes lately? I just don't remember having it happen so often in the past.
