  1. This is not exactly a huge demand among the community, but it'd be great if there was an indicator that stated who owns the portal that we just used. There are way too many Mesmers who troll with their portals across several meta events in different maps, and it's gone way too annoying. The indicator could just appear on the boons/conditions area, it lasts for a few seconds before disappearing eventually. This fix could hopefully thin out the trolling Mesmers, as well as be extended to other items/skills used to troll others - specifically, the Aviator's Memory Box.

    Sincerely, a frustrated Chronomancer.

  2. @TheAgedGnome.7520 said:The problem I have with it is that when a map refills, e.g., with incoming players for a meta, the status of the instance is not re-evaluated and that message removed, even though the map is full.

Players on a map that's urging players to switch instances should be able to vote against the instance change. This could fix so many issues. I've been on so many situations wherein the Dragonfall pre-meta and actual meta get ruined because of the instance changes.

  3. I rushed through the Griffon collection and by rushed, I mean rushed. I got the Griffon in less than two days or 48 hours because all the events I needed were available as I checked on them and was able to join in or at least I was able to start them myself. A lot of people helped during events too and there were even people creating squads to gather people for the events.

I'm currently doing the Raising Skyscales collection and I don't mind the fact that I can't rush through this like I did with the Griffon. I actually enjoy seeing the progress I make every day. The timegate doesn't bother me either since it reminds me that I need to take a break from a video game and focus on something else. Granted I still rush through certain parts of the collection but that doesn't mean I want everything to be rushed. I was so happy to see my Skyscale hatch and I'm currently feeding it and seeing it grow every time I feed it is so cool. It doesn't feel grindy at all even if I'm already farming my currencies because I join meta trains and such. I want to have fun with these collections and the content they put out instead of feeling burnt out over grinding. I'm not gonna go and bring all my level-80 characters to the LS4 maps just to farm the hearts because I don't feel a connection to the Skyscale if I do. I actually haven't played on my other characters because I want my main to finish this collection first. I do understand OP's frustration because I, too, feel frustration sometimes but that's a part of these collections - and life in general.

  4. I had this idea because I've been playing on Ranger for a while now and I realized that, although pets are just there to help you kill mobs, they don't really stand out from other pets. Granted they fulfill their niche as your 'pet' but they don't feel like their your companion because this other player has the same creature that looks exactly like your pet. The simple feature of being able to dye your pet a different color(s) already gives it a unique role as your companion, and not just a carbon copy of another player's pet. They could even go so far as to give you titles for playing with a particular creature for killing an X amount of mobs with that pet equipped, like 'Lion King' for using Sand Lion or something. Little things like this would make playing with pets more rewarding. This may seem trivial to some and may not be at the top of their priorities but it's something to think about.

  5. Cantha would be partially or completely submerged underwater which forces Cantha to reach out to the outside world. They could either be submerged for a while and have been sustaining themselves with the resources and materials they were able to salvage, or were submerged recently and called out for help due to their inability to sustain themselves. This would make the Skimmer underwater mastery important as you need to traverse maps underwater and having the said mastery will allow you to go from Point A to Point B quickly.
