  1. All Plasma weapons have their "plasma" effect hidden when weapon is stowed and visible when wielded.

But Longbow and Short Bow string effect doesn't change, bowstring is always visible - wielded and stowed.

I just bought Plasma longbow and I'm disapponted.

By the way, on preview bowstring is not visible at all.

Is it supposed to be this way or is it a bug?

  2. I think I have same problem (even though I'm in my 40s, not 60s). Started playing GW1 when I was 30, and it was cool and fun, GvG, some hardcore... But then I found out that I just couldn't catch up with game dynamic, especially in GW2, when movement became much more important. Probably I'm slow and lazy, I don't know.So I got gaming mouse (pretty cheap A4Tech J90) with many buttons -- I use it for healing, targeting, elite, mount, run, weapon skill 1 autoattack, dodge, jump. It doesn't make me pro gamer, but helps a lot -- sometimes I run through regular PvE content barely touching keyboard.

  3. Not long ago I created a new character and wanted to slowly and "peacefully" level up in oldschool way without mount, just running around, talking to NPCs and doing events (yes, nostalgia). It's really hard, much harder than 6-8 years ago. It's not pastoral anymore. Everything is rushed. I can't catch up to any event. And even if I get to event, everything is wiped by mounts.I don't think it's right to ban mounts in low-level zones, but their abilities must be downscaled. I don't know how though.

  4. Anyone ever received Black Lion Chest Key from login rewards?

I opened approximately 200-250 chests since 2015 (like almost everyone in game) -- not many to properly calculate probability of getting one, especially if you get no Keys at all.I got many Salvage Kits - 300 gems, Revive Orbs - 250 gems, but not a single Key which is 125 gems. (Sure -- Kits and Orbs may be bought for 2-3 Statuettes, and I have no idea why to buy them from Gem Store, but still...)

I'm not greedy or "offended", just curious about statistics.

  5. Well, I read somewhere that celestial thief is the worst so I made my thief all celestial (exotic gear and weapons, ascended trinkets, stars and divinity). She doesn't dare to enter PvP or WvW like this, but in PvE she's pretty good. Not perfect, but good. She hasn't finished core game yet and I'm not sure she will ever get to the end of HoT or PoF. But she dreams to become Daredevil. We'll see...We use sword/dagger and pistol/pistol. Mainly pistols in hard zones because melee fights usually result in painful death. As for the build, its main purpose - survival.[&DQU2HxQmLCsKAQwBGQFWAVsBWAFWATMBDgEOAQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA=]It's fun and real challenge for me.

It's not 80s. Most eastern "cyrillic" european players know basic English. It's not something cool or outstanding.

And why only Germany ?? I was born in 1976. Under the USSR, English was the language of the elite; it was taught by the children of diplomats and ministers and officers of one organization. In the 90s, it began to be widely used by corrupt officials and crooks. And in these years, learning English, is to equate yourself to them .... And now to learn it late, memory just does not allow ((

(Don't know why you mention Germany... Maybe smth from previous posts, I didn't read all thread.)

What are you talking about? In USSR foreign languages were taught in almost all schools starting at least from 4-5th grade (english, french etc.). Of course it was on primitive level and teachers were not perfect. But stll... If you wanted, you could get decent level of English. So it's a question of eagerness to learn, and not of possibility to learn. I was born in USSR too btw, in 1975.

I don't care whether Anet is going to add cyrillic support or not. It's not relevant to me and doesn't affect my gameplay. The only thing that concerns me is that eastern europeans, especially from post-USSR, are shown here as if we're uneducated savages from concrete jungle. It's just not true. Everyone could learn english, it wasn't forbidden or something.

    Sorry for off-topic.
