  1.

It seeems that fractal rush was a good and a bad thing. New, returning or regular players forget to read lfg and just join as they please now. I run cms+t4 daily, i set my lfg at 5k ufe and/or 150 old kps. Can someone tell me that this amount is outrageous, elitist? So i'm just gonna say that i'm really sick and tired of having this lame excuse: "Hi dps (of course), i have 180 ufe but i know mecs". Well no sorry please leave party and read lfg. Of course this comes with the usual insult or "I'm sure i do more dps than you" blablabla. I usually have no issue with giving a chance to players above 1.5k. So these snowflakes complaining about toxicity basically want to suck, get carried through cms and leave when they got what they wanted. And of course we cannot say anything to them during the run because we are called toxic straight away. What is the solution? Well from now on it'll be a higher kp requisite (probably12k) and a straight block and kick for anyone who doesn't show their stuff straight up. You call us toxic and elitist? Well don't conveniently forget to read lfg, know your class and stop leeching. I also noticed that they don't even bother taking pots and food anymore. So basically we are toxic, they are cheap and god forbid we don't comply and carry them. READ LFG PLEASE!

  2. Just posting to share a tear with those who invested in diviner gear for smoother/faster solo pve content or for precasts in fractals. WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THIS 30 SECONDS MAX BOON DURATION? Not a great joke if you ask me. Example: warrior's rage signet supposed to give 50 seconds fury, swiftness, and might at 100% concentration. Now it just gives 30 seconds fury, swiftness and 50 seconds might (the info bubble is not even updated properly and i'm not even sure that the 50 seconds might are real or just a bug). Shame, it really makes you want to keep playing and waste time and gold on gear... Not really, no.

  3. I just took a look at the upcoming changes to warrior and did some calculations to see how my pbs would suffer from it... And i'll admit that it made me very uneasy to see warrior getting punished once again.

So basically i found two results for the current pbs build, both of them losing in power, precision and ferocity anyway. So we're going to have to choose between:

    1.-170 power, -50 precision, -70 ferocity

    2.-50 power, -50 precision, -170 ferocity

I don't know what will come of it but "somehow" i'm already angry about it. Nothing to look forward to, no good news as always with warriors.

  4. Just wasted two hours on trying to find/spawn this Pepperseed fella. Raging after each of the 5 Wasmaas. Like most people on this post i'm doing Vision 1 which is, in my opinion, insanely long just for a legendary trincket. So... long quests? Sure. Long collections? Sure why not. Huge piles of different materials? Sure bring it. But it's disgusting that these bugs even occur. Fix your game anet.

  5. Sadness is the perfect word for it, and i'm truly not surprised to see lfgs skipping on 100cm now that the novelty has been seen for what it is. "Old cms+t4" is what i'm looking for now. Because, let's be honnest, this is hardly a fractal. One realises that compared to other fractals,100 doesn't loot anything (best case is in cm mode where you drop two chests, regular mode amounts to one chest for a10/15/20 minutes run). It has been rushed, poorly implemented and is (in my opinion) even worse than the last time they tried to change instabilities (remember "birds", "slippery slope"?). There's a lot of improvement to be done on this farce that they call a fractal, even more so now that they've removed consumables. Water phase is still completely lame and we're still in a raid like setting (no precasting, slow unexplained mobility than you only encounter in raids and close to idiotic cc phases).

  6. Low population, high population, i don't care. What i do care about is getting insulted by "new" players that can't prove anything. When i post 100kp or 150 kp on lfg (which is not outrageous), i don't want that new https: killproof.me nonsense. If there is a required "old"kp amount on lfg, you spam it or you don't join, simple as that. Not our fault if anet changed the kp system. And since the new release, leechers have become a huge pain. Learn your class, do training runs and don't insult those who call you out an your lies.

  7. 499 old kps still in my inventory, always hated 250+kp groups on lfg (they usually don't deliver), what i always do is post a100kp requisite for cms (the middle ground in my opinion, i usually accept 65 or 55 without complaining), unexperienced players can find their own training groups and have the humility to learn the content and their classes instead of lying and leeching. Pompous hardcore players lower their expectations in 100kp groups (or simply don't join if they want to break a non existent record).

New KPs are certainly not going to make me convert my old ones. And titles certainly don't represent a level of mastery (old cms or the new one).

  8. @"Janitsu.6284" said:One of the few things that set fractals and raids (and with raids, strike missions) apart from one another is the fact that you are able to prestack boons and that way be sure that you will have enough boons for a set amount of time. This allows for some nifty strategies (such as swapping boon duration gear for damage gear) that, in my humble opinion, make the fractals so interesting. This is due to the fact that you can do multiple small adjustments to the build or the gear that you are using with the prestacked boons to be able to take your gameplay to another level. This can shave off A LOT OF time when it comes to fractal CM bosses (as well as other encounters) and makes it much more fun to upkeep boons for a set amount of time.

Please change the Sunqua Peak fractal to not strip the boons in the beginning, if there is no actual reason for it to do that, so it follows the "unwritten rules" of fractals.

I completly agree with you, the ability to precast is what defines fractals and it's great fun being able to optimize your gears and builds just for that end. It is what differenciates fractals from raids.

Another issue which blurrs this limit between fractals and raids in this new release is the obvious slow mobility setting that you find in RAIDS.

Finally, precasting doesn't eliminate the need to do mechanics and one expects fractals to be dynamic. I personaly consider this new fractal more of pain than a fun experience (in normal mode or cm), and that it needs a rework.

  9. I've been doing 100cm for a few days now, and there are 3 things i dislike:

1.Is this a fractal or a raid? By this i mean i don't understand why we can't precast next to instabilities, why do we have this slow raid-like mobilty and why Breakbars are that overloaded (Are we 10 players cc-ing? No... we are 5 players smacking metal rods and throwing rocks).2.Aoe overload (especially during 2nd phase).3.Fire and water split phases need a rework, one is too messy the other is just plain boring.

  10. @Killerbot.8645 said:For Cameron: what are your thoughts regarding groups using CC consumables(shovels, metal rods etc.) for the CM breakbars?

I ask because I wonder if it was something that was foreseen and is thus a feature or if its an oversight, it seems odd to me that a Challenge Mode would promote stacks of consumables over player skill and class knowledge

i agree with you.Why would it be an absolute necessity to use consumables for cm breakbars? They are used in other cms to speed up the process (like portals in shattered observatory 1st boss and metal rods/boulders 2nd boss), but they are not mendatory.
