You can dual wield fine, the specific trait offers nothing anymore though. If you want to attack faster just use quickness. Look into Sigil of Celerity, Sigil of Rage, Frenzy, and Heightened Focus within the Discipline tree.

For Fractals look into the Power Banner Berserker build, or plan Power Berserker build. However, like I said before your build is fine for a pug so long as you are good at using it. I do strongly suggest swapping Arms out for Discipline if you plan on using Axe/Axe though.

GS would give you more it is true. However I suggest swapping out Arms for Discipline. Warrior's Sprint will help with your mobility and Dual Wielding does not stack with the quickness from Axe 5, Burst of Aggression, or the increased attack speed of Berserk Mode.

If you choose to stay in Arms then you can take Signet Mastery instead of Opportunist and get more might. You can swap Great Fortitude for FGS and get more might. That depends  on the game mode. If you are just F1 spamming on Axe it will be fine for most things outside of speed running FotM and Raids (it would be fine in non speed run attempts is what I mean).

Game modes is fractals and pvp arena. i aim to create a build that will be viable in these two modes. ofc i need to have different setup and minor changes for the different modes, but the gear should stay the same, since i do not have that much time to farm gear for different builds. I just need to be able to login, have fun for the few hours i have to spend 🙂

I was thinking mostly to do fractals, but i want to be able to use the same gear and do some minor change to adapt tp different game modes. I do not have that much time to play, so when i finally get geared i want to enjoy the different game modes GW2 have to offer. Tho i really like dual wielding, so my hope is to be able to create a build for evertyhing while dual wielding ( as mentioned do minor changes for the different game modes)

Hi all

I am trying to create a power build and dual wield. i fell like A/A and M/M is a good solution, but since i am returning after a few years i could use some help to create this build.

Concerns

 

1. Mobillity - I feel GS is the only solution to get mobility
2. Synergi - This build like many others utilizes might to increase dmg and self sustain, are there enough ways to apply might?
3. DMG - Does this build perform well dps wise?
4. Defense - Do the build have enough defense?
5. Dual wield trait - is it worth it? does not stack with berserk.

 

Any suggestions are welcome and if this build is not possible to get "good enough" to do endgame content( dont have to be top performer)
