Kole's Tormented Eye is also unsalvageable.

Personally really hoping for greatsword or dual sword. Imo a focus or a torch would be lame asf, tho torch thematically makes sense but is still lame.
Anything can be "lame" if the skills etc are a disappointment.
So far, the preview of the first three elite specs hasn't excited me in the least. Let's see whether that will change after today's live stream...

You can't turn off infusion effects in this game. If you don't like the effect, replace it with a neutral infusion.

The mask icon might be Warrior. I hope the Ritualist themed one is the Rev.

Say I wanted to find an active instance to do the Verdant Brink Meta Event when it's up, is there anyway to find and join a more active instance?
Use the game's LFG tool: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Looking_For_Group

Oh gods, the live action Avatar: The Last Airbender was a complete and utter clusterflock. I hated that movie. I wanted to smack that dude with a soda bottle.
Miscast actors, bad adaptation of the plot, etc - yes, it was painful to watch. I had high hopes for the movie when Shyamalan stated in an interview how he had watched the show with his kids and had fallen in love with it. For someone in love, he sure mananged to get everything wrong. 😉

As I just posted on the WvW thread: I don't think the game will ever look the same with all the bouncing characters 😂 :

Also lmao, looks like they getting a lot of mobility, this spec is gonna be lit!
What a nightmare, though, don't you agree? WvW filled with characters wildly "bouncing here and there and everywhere." Wait a minute! What does that remind me of again? Hmmm...

Yeah they should totally incorporate that into the lore...
Like a necromancer who's sister is lost to the mordrem and takes up the greatsword that her sister's spirit flows into and becomes a reaper.
Or a guardian who's ranger mother dies so her takes up her long bow to hunt dragons?
Maybe they could have one of the established characters chase his sword into a portal that leads to the Mists and have him come back as a Revenant.
Shame they never thought of it.
That makes three Elite Specs out of how many in total?

I can't help but think that the "angry demon mask" will be the Warrior elite spec...

Odd Veprovina was quoting Ashantara. Do you just happen to have the same stuff in shared slots?
Something like that. 😉

I was thinking that the rune was destroyed, but wanted to make sure before I crafted any legendary runes.
Legendary Runes only make sense in combination with legendary armor. Otherwise, you won't be able to use it across characters, which - with the new legendary armory system - would be a great loss. Also, you won't be able to use it in different loadouts on the same character if the loadouts hold different ascended armor sets.

What's the difference?
The difference is that each character will only be able to equip it in one ring slot at a time per "template".

Yes, the confused emote as well as the sad emote are often misused as passive-aggressive reaction methods. We really don't need those.
A like emote is enough to show support. If you disagree, simply don't "like" the post and state your disapproval in a response so that the person understands why you disagree with them - and perhaps an interesting discussion can grow out of that.
As for the laugh emote: If someone cracked you up with a comment, you can react in a response - no need for this anonymity system here, either.
P.S. Also, what's up with emojis like this one? -> 💩

"Thank you for clarifying for me." I wasn't confused about that, you were 🙂
Then I still don't quite get the point of your original post, I guess. 😅

I bet 99% of the players here never owned a pet.
If by "pet" you mean something with a high IQ, capable of speaking back to you, with powers that exceed those of any mortal, then yes, you are right.
P.S. Oh wait, did you mean Taimi? Who would be able to endure the presence of a talkative smart*** pet like her 24/7? 😂

Whaddya mean, not looking forward to The Last Willbender?
Probably "The Last Airbender" (Avatar) - hopefully the cool tv series, not the horrible movie adaptation by M. Knight Shyamalan.
On topic: I don't like how all those new elite specs are adding to the visual clutter. Also not a fan of all the ridiculous hopping.

Not everyone here is familiar with WoW's classes. What's "DH" and where can we find information on the class to give you a comparison?

I completed the collection last Friday. No issues whatsoever.
"Mayatl can be summoned by speaking with the Itzel Bladedancer next to his platform if you have Itzel Leadership mastery. After he has been defeated, there is a five minute cooldown before he can be challenged again." (Wiki)

The achievement points as well as unlocking the plants in the hidden garden are actually not tied to crafting Kudzu. They are part of crafting the Leaf of Kudzu, the precursor weapon.
You didn't craft the precursor, but instead bought it. Nothing about that has changed. Nobody that buys or finds the precursor today and uses it to craft the legendary bow gets those achievements or collections unlocked. You have to go and craft the actual precursor to gain access to the garden, and you gain that even if you then proceed to sell the precursor. Crafting Kudzu has no part in this.
This is exactly what confused me about the original post and why I assumed the OP did craft the precursor as their claim did not make sense otherwise.
Thanks for clarifying it for the OP. 👍

The collections are for crafting the precursor, which can only be done once.
He did it the old school way without the collections.
Ah, my bad. I thought "oldschool" would be doing it from scratch, not using the precursor. 😉

Do it all again for the achievements. Go experience the lore and adventure. Sell the new Legendary on the TP afterwards.
Did they change something I might have missed? Because up until recently, you could do each Gen1 legendary journey only once.

I got so bored with the lack of content that I decided to create HOPE from scratch, even though I don't particularly like the skin nor the footfalls. The journey was tons of fun, though, and it turned out I liked the skin better than I had anticipated. 😆
Today, I bought the precursor for Quip and created the Legendary. Much cheaper than buying the finished weapon from the TP. (One of the most ridiculous skins out there, but that's not why I got it. 😉 )
Now I have a full legendary armory with only a second dagger (and perhaps a second staff) missing. I'll use the EoD precursor for that.
P.S. Not sure that's something to be "proud of", it's just what has kept me busy in-game these past two weeks.

Because the things I mostly want would require completely redesigning the game, and that makes far more sense on a brand new game.
I got that. It's exactly why all the other GW3 threads had been created.
But like I said, this is a completely pointless discussion for the reasons I mentioned earlier. GW3 will likely never happen, and if it happens, certainly not within the next 10 years. By then, your suggestions will long be forgotten and also outdated in terms of what's technically possible.
So it makes much more sense to make suggestions for the current game post-EoD.
