The IBS dailies have been nerfed. Since the changelog didn't state that the nerf was intentional, I consider it a bug.

Completing a season 3 daily rewards the player with 3 chests. This used to be only one.

Completing a season 4 daily rewards the player with 3 chests. This used to be only one.

However a Icebrood Saga daily still only rewards 1 chest.  The same amount as back when you could do all dailies.

Unfortunately, that is what modern gaming has (d)evolved to.

 

Why give players who achieve XYZ a reward when you can just sell that reward for money? 

 

I am sure there are plenty of game designer at arenanet who rather have the players earn rewards instead of buying it. But a corporation just wants to make as much money as possible, so that is not going to happen.

 

Don't forget that, as time goes by, more and more gamers will never have played an online game without microtransactions.

I bet some maps have terrible code and closing them every ~4 hours was their solution to the game ending up in a bad state. Most notably PoF maps.

Completely agree. When I bought all the expensions I expected to have access to all content. The fact that they sell years old story missions was very disappointing. Either increase the price of the expansions and give us those missions or add a huge disclaimer that you actually don't get all the content.

[Does elite spec make non-elite weapons irrelevant?]

Is it me or does elite specs make weapons for which you don't require an elite spec to use irrelevant? I currently play engineer, and it seems like most weapon kits, pistols and rifles are weak compares to the hammer and swords you can unlock with the elite specs.

 

Am I wrong? Imo for the next expansion arenanet shouldn't release more specs and think about some other content they can release. This way it will be easier for them to balance the game.

This game is a bit overwhelming. Is there anything i should prioritize? Should i buy living world season 2?
