  1. They've definitely killed it with all the heals, boons, and BARRIER. The amount of barrier you can keep up in a blob is disgusting. First scourge, now scrapper. And they've been continiously nerfing boon strip while giving more boons for the last few patches. Transfution after the nerf is still powerful when you can just stack more scourges. There's only two good DPS that's holo and zerker that can reliably pierce through all that sustain. Maaaybe a god tier gamer DPS staff ele/DH but that's on the player. Compare that variety to support choices, what the hell is going on with the balance team? Roaming has been dead for years, and they just killed clouding. The only viable gameplay left is boonball and it's not even fun when two boonballs practically stack on top of each other while nothing happens because of the sustain we are able to maintain.

  2. All the barrier that support can put out is way to high. Scrappers and scourges are the worst offenders at this moment. Transfution makes downing enemies irrelavent if they stack enough heal scourges. Even when the 19th March patch goes live, these skills will still plague the game mode. Transfution is singlehandedly the most unhealthy mechanic in the game mode. I thought we've learned that lesson many years ago when it used to be a thing before its reemergence. Apparently not. Make barrier cap at 20% of your health in WvW if you really wanna make it a thing. Transfution needs to be completely axed. That's on top of all the boons/heals that the 4 supports/sub meta can kitten out. Yet Anet is still periodically nerfing strips. GG

  3. They need to add more hairstyles that most people are going to use, not some goofy looking ones that they've done every time they added new ones. They keep trying to keep things different but it won't matter how unqiue a hairstyle is if people don't think it looks good or use it. There's also a very few selection of waist length hairstyles that aren only locked into one race and gender that is the Norn female. Other races could waist length hair too.

  4. Assuming you are following the squad comm, you don't need a skyscale to hop instances. Right click, join instance. Having a skyscale doesn't give you a brain.  Assuming you are NOT in squad, there's absolutely nothing about instance hopping that affects you at all. Ruining what? Getting a skyscale? Or getting gold? Be specific.
    If you have trouble keeping up, there's dizzlewoodcoast and Silverwaste. There are also commanders that run "chill DF run" without hopping/zooming cross the map. There's a reason why map hopping squad is always full. Don't ruin OUR experience because you think it somehow affects whatever you're doing.

  5. Looks like bad awareness. You would've had time to react in the first clip if you had looked in the direction of potential incoming enemies. I swear deadeyes think we don't see them. The only problem with that engi build is the 1200 pull range+unblockable. Cut down the range and remove unblockable their entire shtick is gone. Their Moa is fine. But then again I don't care how a deadeye is being meme'd to filth.

I feel like when ping gets better it never gets talked, so on the slim chance that Anet did try something to fix the ping, or not(who knows it could be my ISP or anthing really) my ping has significantly improved (went from average 250 on a good day, 600 average on a bad day with 4k ping spikes, to as low as 180 today). It's been a week with stable, extremely low ping for what I usually get so that's been great. SEA on EU if that matters.

    That's what I was told as well. I read on reddit that the reason it even got better for a couple days was because someone at AWS fixed the routing that caused the spikes. For some reason the ping is absolutely unaplaybale again. Back then it would only happen once in a few months but now it's every other week for us SEA/OCE folks. If I'm gonna be honest I don't think there's anything Anet can do on their end either so we are kinda stuck in this situation.

  8. So... it was good very 2 days and I'm just starting to get really high ping and spikes AGAIN. I was just playing as usual and I had stable 280-300 ping then all of a sudden I got spammed with "The game client is unable to connect..." message over and over. My ping started spiking to 900 to 3k. Anyone else experiencing this? It didn't use to be this bad.

  9. Congrats! I hope the balance team could eventually get around to revisiting the spec trade offs that got introduced years back in some classes as a response to their overperformance at the time. Trade offs feel to me more like a band aid and the design philosophy was later abandoned completely which is evident in EoD specs. But the ones that got the "trade offs" are still left in the dust. Some core utilities could also use some updating/reworking.
