Note the screenshot that GW2 saves is not a raw screenshot. Max out the gamma for a sample. You have to print screen and paste the image or use the snipping tool.

If you only changed the CPU, re-installing isn't necessary, but if you changed the motherboard, that changes everything. For the GPU, you should choose to clean install when installing the drivers.

I replaced the RAM, CPU, motherboard and GPU.  I had my computer guy do it because I wasn't super comfortable installing a motherboard, and he was able to avoid reinstalling windows and as far as I know, reinstalled the drivers.

  2. Hi there!

So I'm loving the game, especially since I recently upgraded my rig with a brand new CPU and a 3070. Great FPS, everything on high, good performance.  The one issue is this weird effect I've never seen before...  I describe it as little 1cm cubes, a grid of them laid over my screen, and you can only really tell they're there because the edges have this "Doctor Strange mirror dimension" thing going on.  It's JUST distracting enough to notice it all the time, notably during movement.  It's not to do with Vysnc or anything basic like that, and I tried to take a screenshot and the effect doesn't show. It's also not present during loading screens.

I had someone suggest that because I didn't reinstall windows when I got my upgrades maybe it was an old driver issue?  Basically I'm hoping to find someone who knows exactly what this is and what to do before I go and start manually reinstalling drivers and what not.
