you know upon account creation you can't change it. but what some may not understand is that everyone will call you by that name. You might think your account name is for you, but its not.
I think what the OP was getting at was just changing that display name but keeping the account name the same.So it would be account name - private(anet contact related), display name - public (call me this name). When i signed up i was use to people calling me by my toons name so i didn't really think about it, but nobody really does that anymore at first glance.It's quite obvious to tell who in your guild knows you and who doesn't however when they call you by your account name and not the name you go by (usually based off your main toons name).
I realize this won't be changing, but since i cosplay based off what your able to do with the character customization i didn't have a toons name picked out B4 before i created my account. I was too used to WoW(Lich king) pre dating the "battle tags" / "account name" when i quit wow and later started up with GW2. This idea of not being called by your toon name was a whole new thing for me. lol but w/e...

I am excited non-the-less about any decorations added. I guess I'll have to suck it up and start taking raiding seriously or wait for people to sell tokens in lfg if that's the case. :(
i know whole dec guilds that don't raid, to stick all these decs behind the raid wall makes little sense. Decorators for the most part will spend hours in the ghall decorating not hours in raids doing combat. obviously there are people who do both, but from what i've seen, (for the most part) raiders don't decorate.

All of these arent unlocked as a scribing recipe and for now i have no idea how to get them, someone have an idea?
also ofcourse new raid trophies for the new raid. (i think 3 different kinds [token, bronze, silver, gold], but i could be wrong!)

of course its only raids.... wonder kitten ful...

LW4 Ep4. LEGACY is bugged after you defeat the branded riftstalker npcs start to talk then screen goes black (like its going to a cutscene) and then I get a dc message to character select and lose all credit. and have to redo the instance trying for a thrid time, but it will most likely fail.
2 hours later... on 4rth try made it past Legacy.

LW4 Ep.4- Legacy is bugged! I defeated the Branded Riftstalker, npcs start to talk, then screen goes black and i dc. Has happened three times now :( Can't Progress in this story. (code=7:11:3:191:101)

Story is bugged after you fight the branded from suns refuge during Legacy. Finished the stage then dc'd, twice now. Can't progress

was it season 2 in sw? idk that sw armor chieves were the hardest story instances for me, everything else since has been a certain method you had to figure out, but the fight itself wasn't that hard. Not understanding a fight made it frustrating and i think the devs need to do a better job showing you what to do/ how to fight in the lead up story bits b4 the main boss fight because sometimes its not very clear.

i and the rest of the communtiy want an UNDERWATER MOUNTANET!!!! not this swim speed thing. How hard is it really in PoF to get an underwater mount?!?!?!?
This right here is ANET logic. Reasons why i hate the direction this game has gone.
I'd dump REAL MONEY on new underwater mount skins, but instead you annoy me with a huuge grind for something that seemed so obvious and profitable for you, i'm about to lose my mind . :( whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy anet whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :(
Though I'd still bet with ANET logic They'll dump a underwater mount ingame later on down the road after people have grinded for hours (just to keep players active)I see your evil plans anet. You can't fool me. :)

I wonder if the SAB patch has something to do with it. I've been dc'ing like crazy(50% of the time) whenever i run sab worlds solo, but in a group it hardly ever happens :(It's been 12 days of this and still no fix for the sab dc's :(

I would have rather the drinks stayed expensive, you can farm those if you want. The sigil and runes you can't and that's SAD.

Ok ok so farm events over and over and get rich! Then you can buy....nothing. I have the armor I want that I've had for over two years now money is a useless currency for me.
I just wish they added actual activities to do that could benefit me the player and give me something to strive for. We need some me things like fishing, or just a purpose for xp. I dunno I know I need another break which is sad considering the expansion just came out.
Hopefully the new living season will be out soon :)

To the Op you are not a GW2 fan then, That said, there are lots of things to do, and in the constrains of what you listed its more then just 2 things.You must own HoT then since you been playing for 2 years and since you're getting bored you must have finished all the LW and PS chieves from HoT. Cause that's story which your love. yuck.But wait you hate doing chieves so i'm guessing you still have lots of stuff to do in that regard.
Combat. PVE? PVP? or WVW Plenty to do here. Oh wait you hate chieves. so whats the point of playing really right? wow...activities to strive for- sounds like an achievement hunter to me, oh wait...
Activities like dynamic events? Metas? Bounties? World Boss Trains?

Mounts are unhealthy for everyone in old maps. Mounts should have been limited to PoF maps. I mean sure, i love to fly everywhere, but Springer Mount is just killing the game. It's making it Waaaaaaay to easy to get to places high up. People horribad at jumping makes it super easy. It already was easy, they just bad at jumping. I really haven't been outside the desert maps too much anyways, So i havent seen what people have been up to, but i'd imagine SW is alot more like nascar now. nascar =not good.
I would just hop that you introduce new maps that require some really high places to get to, some tricky bits and sorta make it like if u were just jumping normally.
