Finally got to try the workaround, and it worked for me! Thank you

Yeah I can't figure out a way to change anything. I tried a different order to fill up the bar, I tried doing it quickly/slowly. Been through it at least 7 times now. Will just have to wait until something is done about it.

I tried closing the game completely and retrying but nothing has changed, third time through. Although I've noticed the timer has now disappeared on subsequent tries.

Happening to me too, came back to the game recently, wanted to start SotO so i could grab the skyscale but can't get past this instance.
