I know that staff on ele is not a first option. But dude, creating low intensity builds (like autotarget scepter) it doesn't improve the competitive environment!

[Follow up to the June 28 Balance Update Preview]

I kinda understand ongoing changes :). Profession boons are quite hard to balance, and it is quite difficult add more boons alike. It is easier remove them.

 

I'm expecting to see things like fury/weakness, quickness/slow, alacrity/chilled, protection+resolution and swiftness/cripple as a stackable boon/condition instead standard flat amount that each one provides. :3

Yes... And no...

 

If you are referring to the backpack piece. Every game mode has its own, representing an achievement on that aspect. Ascension for pvp, the infused fractal thing for pve and the war thing for wvw.

 

Trinkets, in the other hand, they were, until recent update, one per game aspect (except lore, which have 2). So, being fully Legendary meant that you went for all gw2 modes. You deserved it.

 

But with this new legendary amulet it's like saying "hey pvp guys, I don't care about your time and effort". What could have happened if they had said "let's replace conflux, or aurora, or vision or the another one"? A wildcard trinket would be a painless option for every one.

If legendary armory is what I think it will be... My efforts are practically nullified by a pve event?

[Squad merging to troll people]

Maybe is a bit off from the topic but I like to add that my automated Tournament were trolled with merge-ing parties with squads several weeks ago.

The whole story is: my team were registered on a AT, 1 minute left to AT begins when a squad invitation appeared. 3 person of my team misread the alert pop up and they joined to the squad. Result: no tournament for us.

Maybe is our fault by no-reading the alert but It should be a team decision to avoid this kind of trolling
