[I'm sorry but toxicity is least of PVP problem]

I lost the caunt how many times I got flamed in private chat long after game ended. Mostly by one who go afk after first lost fight in mid.  My rank is low and get flamed by felow low rank player is ridicilous. I do not want to play ranked pvp and I would play unranked but then I dont get rewards.

The solution is to not play pvp at all. Not because of unbalance and what not. People are crying about that since 2012. But because of players. Toxic players like you ruined gw2 pvp not Anet. I rather play with bots. They atleast don't give up and not spaming chat.

Mine is almost 10 years with total of 2310 hours played.  My oldest and most played character is a warrior with 1794 hours.

I am solo player and before alliances I could join my server public voice squad when ever I like with often full squads of 50 people.

Other than that nothing has changed from my perspective.

Ofcourse I could join a guild, thats what alliance is all about but with my play schedule it is not posible.

I like that gw2 going to be on steam.  I am curious how many players are online. Steam will let us see these stats.

But as far as I understand you can log in with anet account or steam account.  And steam will only count steam players?

[What’re we losing with no sub?]

For me is definitely worth keeping sub free. I often stop playing and comeback to check it out once again and got hooked up for a month or two. I would not do it if there was a monthly sub.

Also imagine having gem shop and a monthly sub. You are allready paying for game but you have pay extra to get all the skinns and convenience stuff? I know other games has it but I personaly despise this and avoid those games.

For me MMO's is about character growth by time invested in. Not by amount of money spend.

When I have time I do T4 fractals. Also I used to do pvp because I think it gives a lot liquid gold. But now I can't endure it anymore.

PoF was the best for me. I like desert theme, mounts and last boss fight was very good.

HoT is the worst. I hate these vertical maps. I rather play core maps all day long. Every good thing in HoT is overshadow by this map design I hate so much.

I have no strong opinion about EoD. Haven't played it yet. Then good discount comes I might try it.

I hade to do a few games not long ago to finish legendary armor and boy oh boy how many grief'ers I met. Going afk after one lost fight in mid. Blaming others 24/7.  They wont leave you alone even if you ignore them.  But that is some what fixable with chat turned off. 

But then it struck me that I been playing same old maps and mode I been playng 10 years ago.  All the builds and balance issues aside it is not fun anymore playing the same thing over and over again. And if you add all the grief from players it's become really unpleasant expirience.

I rather mindlessly grind some mobs for pvp stuff.

This needs to be inplanted. Now reports feels like it does nothing.

[For those that have been playing since launch, what was the most fun era for you and why?]

Vanilla gw2 was the most fun for me. Sense of exploration like no other mmo. I really was proud then complited world exploration and crafted my first legendary twilight. I main warrior and had a lot of fun in pvp.

 

Also in wvw players where not as cordinated as now. We had a commander who made us dye our armor in pink then trogle walking and just autoatacking huge enemy blobls and killing them. It was called the SWAG walk. Also commander had really nice like radio dj voice wich is also adds to expierince.

[warrior mains, do you guys have any more years to give to this game?]

I think I will play warrior on and off for many more years.  Warriors have got through many nerfs but I still manage to pick some a good fights in pvp or wvw.  This is what gw2 is about for me.

I also enjoy casual pve continent with warrior wich is ok for me.

I think it's just imposible to balance pvp at all. Not only we have many classes, builds and skills to balance here is also a individual player skill level wich means even same builds can be played as a owerpowered or the oposite.

 

If you look at pvp forums acording to players pvp always has been in a worst state since launch.

I wont agree or disagree on that bicause I don't care much about balance -it's just imposible to atjust to everyones needs. 

What important is do you have fun ? I personally have the most fun in pvp just before a stun damage nerf. Now whenever I play I play other game modes. I suggest you to do the same and try to have fun.

Apart builds pvp has very little changes. New maps new modes would atract people. What we have now ? Same mode same few maps for a decade.

For me personally is fun to get into it from time to time but since here is nothing new I burn out quickly.

They should add skill then you are down you can give up,  die and respawn. Now enemy can keep you alive for as much as posible. This mechanic is really anoying.

I have pre-purchase only one game. Altghrough I was not disapointed I will never do it again. Bicause many trust worthy game making companys have failed these past few years. I do not trust any of them. Even gw2.

[Warrior veterans, describe why you enjoy playing the warrior profession!]

I really like a mace/shield and greatword combo. Combine with fast weapon switching it is fun to play. At least it was before cc skills damage nerfs. I even got eternity, the moot and The Flameseeker Prophecies to complete this close and personal fight style set.

I agree with 1 st point. Right now I rather use legendarys as a skin on exotic or ascended gear right now

[Legendary weapon switching]

Very disapointed with this update. I used to swap weapons on my warrior often. Off hand mace and warhorn for example for a little swiftness boost. Now every time I do this I have to customize the moot again. This is very inconvenient.

Don't tell me about build templates because in my case I would have to use atleast 5 of them  just for temporaly weapon swaps ?!

I main warrior and build I play most of time is very weak against condition damage who can kite me from distance. In other scenarios is pretty good if I succeed with adrenaline attacks. So, no. Warriors are not op. They got some counters like everybody.
