  1. Join the BOSS Fatal Aggression family. We mostly focus on metas, missions, raids and fractals, but dabble in grouping up for WvW, PvP, dungeons, etc. We host quarterly raffles for our members where we give away pots of gold and rare skins. Members are asked to rep the guild during guild hosted events to earn chances at a drawing for a pre-cursor.

We have very active Discord and a max level guild hall with several active decorators plying their trade and an arena fully kitted out to test your skills against your guild mates. Currently, we have members of all ages with a large variety of schedules. At any time, there are many of our over 250 members online for easy guild gaming. We like to think of ourselves not just as a guild but as a gaming community, many of our members have formed friendships and play other games with each other as well.

In-game, shoot a message or in-game mail to one of our officers to get an invite! Game on and have fun!

I've been there many times over the last 8 years as well, it's good to just step back from GW2 every once in a while and play some other games. No sub and all that makes it very easy to come back whenever you like :D

I've been playing for 5 years now and my usual method of taking a break is to take a few weeks off running events, achievements and such and focus on crafting for gold, or collecting volatile/unbound magic for gold. Now Drizzlewood Coast killed the prices on all the mats and that's not even fun at the moment. Pretty sure I'll be dusting off some Xbox games for a bit. Time to take a real break from the game.

  3. Agreed with most of you wayyyy too long. The map is gorgeous and a great design. But the siege on the frost citadel is a visual Charlie Foxtrot (I'm trying to be polite). I've done the meta 5 times now and have successfully picked up a cannon part twice. Both times too late to actually help build a scrap cannon. Not to mention with so much going on I can't tell during the Jormag fight what is actually doing to damage to down me so I can do something to avoid or mitigate the damage. Speaking of down state, why do the trash mobs which no longer give XP or loot not rally us from the down state when they die. I was downed at the end of Jormag and when he was defeated and the meta ended, no rally there either. Can we fix this? Overall Anet you guys have done a great job showing us how over the top you can make things. But please understand it's becoming less fun. I thought that was the point of a "game".

.....Drakkar: I maybe expected too much but that was a huge disappointment. I read somewhere of a 'Tequatl-like fight'....maybe I shouldn't have read that. Yeh the mechanics are more interesting than general world boss fights and the location is pretty different and cool but I didnt understand the need to go through gates to defeat an easy Champ, I didn't see the need for the elites in there at all and it's yet another 'stack on it's foot and DPS' fight we see all too often! If there's no unique loot then this boss is just gonna be another 'in the rotation' boss. Nothing special at all.

Not to mention, a special action skill pops up, but it's not usable against the mob you're fighting. I've maxed them and when they work they do significant damage. But they seem to decide randomly when and where they give you the special action. Beyond that I'm not sure that anyone left at Anet truly knows how to create good content anymore.
