  1. Fixed it.If you are in the UK and with Virgin Media, do this!.I've tried everything in this thread, apart from 1 suggestion. Using a VPN.I looked for one that had a 30-day money-back guarantee in case it didn't work.£50 for 3 years was the best deal with ZenMate.. and out of habit I went on topcashback and it was 99% cashback... so FREE.https://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/jasonorme666

I downloaded it, connected it and ran the last HoT story mission for the 30th time in the past 3 days, and got all the way to the end and completed it.No issues at all.

Honestly, couldn't be happier, years I've avoided story missions on my alts.

  2. Can't complete the final mission on HOT, always get disconnected after the cutscene plays after the first boss.8 times I've tried it now.I have done everything Anet suggest, port forwarding, allow through firewall.I also tried all the other suggestions with no luck.

The steam release is a terrible idea while this bug isn't being addressed, the game will get review bombed.. hell.. that might make the dev team actually sort it out.

No, I don't see the problem. You can go ahead and acquire KP and LI like the rest of us did. Join groups that are learning or training new people, or make your own groups. But if active players haven't tried raiding in all these years, they just dont care about the game mode and they never will, the LI/KP excuse is just an excuse.

That's not the case at all, people want to raid but elitist gatekeepers push them away. The stupid thing is, as Andrew has stated " raids attract a small audience", and that audience will never grow if more people aren't let in.Raiding needs to become accessible for all, otherwise, Anet won't focus their development time working on raids and those elitist gatekeepers will have shot themselves in the foot.

    1. Go to Task Manager and find GW2 in processes, right click and "Go to details"
    2. On the new list, find GW2, right click and "Set affinity"
    3. Untick everything except CPU 0

    This worked, thanks.

  6. Just come back after a few month break and I'm barely making 25fps. The game used to be smooth as butter unless a massive group of players were attacking a boss. What's happened.. I've repaired my installation, deleted the cache, made sure my graphics drivers are up to date.. it's just unplayable.
