So how are we going to earn PvP potions and WvW potions for things like guild upgrades with this new system?

Good point, though removing an incentive to play (Arguably 10 AP is less of an incentive but it's still there for many.) is still removing an incentive. I generally see people who do dailies every day, or those that are more like "Meh I'm not interested in AP, but I'll do dailies when I have nothing else to do." In which case I see the cap as only hurting the group that was passionate about AP hunting in the first place.
Arguably they have it set up so that after pinnacle skins the rewards still continue, just with no skins. But without daily AP it's slowed to a crawl on progression.

@Krzysztof.5973 said:You are free! Now you can stop logging in to do dailies. This will show you where your priorities are. If you stop logging in cause you are capped on dalies you will come to a funny conclusion :)
I already log in daily because I enjoy the game. But AP hunting is something I do to give me something to do if I don't have anything to do. (Does that make sense? XD)

Do you think the cap helps prevent people from getting overwhelmed by how much others have?

As an AP hunter myself, I'd just go for whatever you seem "worth it". Some of the AP stuff can get really grindy, f.e. monster kills, weapon kills, collections, icebrood saga stuff where you need to press f on 1000 thingies for 5 AP(exagerating, I know, but you get the gist if you look at the achievements of the saga). Don't burn yourself out and don't expect to be done with it in a week. Do what's fun for you.
You say a lot of stuff I've told others, just work on things you like and It'll come faster than if you tried to grind for it.

As the title suggests, a few months ago I maxed my daily achievement points! (Wow, didn't think I'd get there!)
While I'm happy it's also sad that I feel no real reason to continue dailies besides the allotted 2g reward.
Outside of that I've found myself yearning for either an increase in the daily max, or other ideas on just finding other achievements to work on and just go 'achievement hunting.'I find myself being more inclined to finish more expensive collections and achievements for even just a couple AP.
My real question for everyone is twofold; Would you approve of an increase in the daily max AP and what's your best way of seeking to increase your AP after max daily is capped?

The fact is the flavor choice does not work when I tried earlier this morning.

I want to choose to refuse to drop the item down the Vent, however it will not let me select it. Is this currently bugged?

Thanks it got sorted out earlier today! Good to know it wasn't permanent!

I earned the GWAMM title years ago and now suddenly it was revoked. I submitted a request but I wanted to ask here if anyone else has the same issue.
Here's a link to the mail: https://imgur.com/a/5H2UpgN

The Mastery System was designed specifically for horizontal progression to prevent newer players from feeling like there was this gigantic gap between veterans and newcomers. Allowing some sort of monetary or economical gain would ruin the entire theory on why they were used in the first place instead of increasing the level cap.

Can we instead be able to show our helmet instead of the headpiece from the outfit? I remember when it used to be a bug and it got removed. So many times I want to be able to wear glasses or a monocle with an outfit.

I can't seem to donate to Wild-Eye Miller. Anyone else got this issue? Is it bugged?

See you around Mo! We will love and miss you. I am happy you are moving on to something you are excited and passionate about. Stay strong and don't be a stranger!

Hmmm I hope it can stabilize soon.

Does the hatched chili pepper home instance node only give you 1 item per harvest?

Shark all the way.

Sweet! Thanks!

I was late to the most recent community event. And although I earned and deposited about 7 tokens, I have yet to earn any of the tiered prizes that have been promised. Is there a minimum needed to donate? Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks in advance!

There are Pros and Cons to Free to Play and Subscription based games. Both have to earn a revenue that is stable and worth investing in the future.

With the recent news about the 7th anniversary packages inbound to players of GW2, I wanted to suggest an update for the experience scrolls. In my opinion if you have lots of characters you end up with extra experience scrolls and nothing to use them on. In fact there's also two sets of lvl 20 scrolls that are unstackable.
Would players like to have a way to compress their leveling scrolls with a 2:1 ratio and upgrade them?
For instance 2 lvl 20's = a lvl 30 scroll. Two lvl 50's = a lvl 60 scroll.
Thoughts? Opinions? I know this isn't necessary or entirely needed, but as someone who spends time to level their characters and has plenty of characters from year 1, the amount of scrolls and lack of slots, make these items fill up my storage.
Let me know what you think!

Hmmm, ok. I could have sworn I'd seen the prices on materials change over the past few hours from materials going from between 15-50 items different.
-
When the festival released last year, I was sure that the material cost of each supply box was static. However this year I've noticed that for some reason the prices have changed every couple hours. For example at the start to get 1 box it was 60 silk scraps, but now it's 85. I've seen that fluctuate twice.
Anyone know what's going on? Are the prices dynamically changing? Or is Anet adjusting the prices to better fit the current supply of materials? Or was the wiki/gw2efficiency wrong on the cost?

Yeah I'm unsure these are supposed to happen around the rest of all the other maps too.
