  1. I've been lucky to be on anvil rock this week, and we have been steamrolling the other two servers for the week. I think the game is kinda in a slump right now though, with most people and commanders waiting on upcoming stuff, but having double wxp this week has been gotten me at least to play much more than usual, and spend many celebration boosters.

Edit: I recommend using LFG Central Tyria Squads for finding events. Can be tricky to get sometimes, especially on Orr.

There was absolutely zero on LFG for any zone of the event when I was in game in the afternoon. The only thing I saw up was 1 riba farm.

I saw that too yesterday. First day there was a lot more people, and I hope they will run Orr more again now that the defense events should work. People tend to place groups on LFG for a short time when close to completing challenges, at least. To me Orr was a good goto place between the timed events.

  3. Skyscales seem to open up even more areas than the griffons did. They also stay nice and still while taking photograps. I'm interested to know what cool places and areas people have been able to reach already, so that I can try to reach them too.

Try to limit images to one or two for each post, so to not make the posts too tall.

  4. I for one love jumping puzzles.

    • JP are some of the more challenging content in this game, and they break the monotony of fighting really well.
    • Most of the JP work as hidden bonuses and secrets (rewards) for people who explore.
    • There is a lot of variety and different JP. Ones on mounts have not felt quite as good I agree. Some I enjoy a lot.
    • Really nice movement and controls are one of the unique things about GW2 for me. (Using mouse to turn helps a lot I find).

The problem with the story JP was more the changed space physics, than the use of the JP puzzle imo. Though also resetting story back without explanation does not feel too great.

  5. The only small issue I had was, that I didn't spend my mastery points near the start on the raptor since I wanted to save them for the bunny. I didn't expect the next mount to be gated of like that for some reason, and had to farm a bit of experience to catch up later. Other than that i don't remember having much trouble finding and gathering enough mastery points to activate anything I unlocked. Just had to explore and keep the eye on the achievements.

  6. The movement pattern on this fight was easy enough to learn, so I was able to be away from the boss when it did the strong attack. I think it should not be too hard for any class due to that once you figure it out. It was definitely a difficulty spike in the story though. Also due to the stakes being really high, dying on it will be very immersion breaking which might not be a good thing. I still enjoyed the challenge of it overall.
