What is worst, they made these new mats for decorations ACCOUNT bound! Forcing you to grind for all of them. Now I understand why Milky is furious in the other thread. For the first time in years, I am unable to craft any of the new decors. Definitely not going to grind in that dull boring map for 11,000 mats with super low drop rates.  

Is this going to be the way in the future? 😒 Can we not have just one thing we enjoy doing without having to grind and grind forever? Hall decorations is one of the main 'contents' for many veterans who enjoyed decorating and suddenly ANet decided to put a wall on it. Why? Are you trying to kitten and chase out more people who supported you all these years? What is wrong with you ANet? 😠

I agree. The whole point of things being expensive or needing a lot of currency for the guild hall is because other members can deposit items. But all of this stuff is account bound, locked behind lengthy meta's.

TBH i almost quite the game when HoT released bc grinding for the currencies for the GH and Nevermore that players couldn't contribute about broke me mentally.

Please change the currency to something less demanding, or allow other players to deposit in the GH Treasury

I understand your frustration, I suffer from probably the same things (ptsd, tbi, fibromyalgia, etc ) from the gulf as well.

 

So sadly I skip some of those she activities because of the amount of stress which triggers my symptoms. Some others have have good advice, when I did strikes/raids I ty to only do it with people I know or a dedicated group. This way we can try to have fun or know we'll get it done first go.  Payng is a maybe option IMO bc it maybe hard to find a trustworthy group. 

 

Good luck and try to enjoy much as you can and don't be so hard on yourself when it gets stressful..

With the new Legendary Armory, it doesn't recognize if you have equipped 2 of the same Legendaries. This is not the same topic as the other posts regarding missing Legendaries, this is purely about getting the achievement Twice-Told Legend

 

I have just equipped 2 Incinerators, the actual weapons not skins, on the same toon, and I did not get the achievement.

TBH if it were just to increase server performance, I say remove them ofc.

But since only very specific ones were removed, where we know ppl complained about them being used as teleport targets or to gain stealth, then its just punishing those classes and removing a legitimate mechanic of the game. At which point I say, leave them all or remove them all.

That's what I thought at first, but multiple people in my guild have said the same. I have checked after several daily resets and even world reset, and they are indeed removed.

Yea, i was skimming through that article to see if it mentioned ambients, but I didn't see anything specific. To my recollection.

Within the past month there has been a lot of ambient creatures removed from the borderland maps. I would understand if all of them were removed for server performance, but this almost seems deliberate, as they were only removed from certain areas whereas others remain.

Just curious as to the reasoning for some,but not all being removed.

Specific examples:groups of chickens at north camp on Alpinerams from the cliff at northwest camp on Alpinefireflies from southeast camp on Alpinerabbits from southeast camp on Desertvultures from south camp on Desert

There were a lot more than this, but just wanted to give examples. However, The cats and rats are still at north camp, and plenty of other ambients in random locations.

[How many of the professions do you play?]

I actively play 4, but have all. Plus I have alt's for 4 of them depending if i'm running with a group or roaming.

I use Gw2LaunchBuddy as stated by others, but you can also just use a batch file to close the process and launch another copy as well. I used to use a batch file, but I definitely prefer LaunchBuddy now, it has some great features. I sometimes launch 4 accounts at once.

After all these years it's nice to see the tradition of calling him Steve is still going on. The Mystic Plumbers [Luck] started this this in our guild Labyrinth runs and kept saying it until it stuck.

[Not enough easy accessible Mastery Points in New Expansion [Spoilers]]

My wife and I, and most of my guild mates were able to get enough mastery points in 1-2 days of playing to have everything unlocked. Things aren't supposed to be super easy, it requires work and thought.
