Hello,
I have graphic bugs on some skins that I can't get fixed. Graphicsettings won't change anything to the appearance.
I especially have issues with all Etherbounds-Skins (armor & weapons) and the Sworn Zaishen Helmet and some more.
The issue is that the animation just isn't happening, the animation stands still like on a screenshot. This is how the weapons and armor skins look to me in the game:
You might say it's not smart to "prove" animations on a .jpg but there simply isn't anything happening to it on my screen.
I tried graphicsettings, repair installation and reinstallation. Nothing fixed it. What's seems to be the issue here?

I set it up like this:
- Raid Power BS/DPS
- Fractal Power BS/DPS
- Raid/Fractal Condi BS/DPS
- Spellbreaker
- WvW Zerg Support
- WvW Roaming Spellbreaker
Works fine I guess, didn't understand for what i would probably need a tank :bleep_bloop:

I'm a Warrior OTP (one-trick-pony) and are struggeling a bit with the limit of 6 geartemplates as I like basically every gamemode.
Right now I split up my Warrior into 3 characters; 1 for sPvP only, no brainer there.Another is a WvW-Character, my Main is the PvE one for Raids & Fractals.
I am into minmaxing, which is also the reason why I only play 1 class.
My current slots (PvE) are:
- Right now I kinda need the standard Warrior BS/DPS Build with dual Axes and Maces
- A fractal variant with assassin rings (instead of shoulder) due to 100% crit rate in fractals
- Spellbreaker Build for Qadim 1.0 and j4f
- GS variant for OW/CA
- Rifle variant for Xera Button and/or Wargen Escort in W2
- Condi (thankfully only 1 variant xD)
My WvW slots are:
- Zerg Support Shoutbreaker
- Zerg DPS
- Soloplay/Roaming
- Duelist (Marauder/Berserker/Knight stats with Sword/Dagger/GS)
So that makes 10 already, without sPvP.Due to the nature of legendary right now I don't only want to swap in a weapon if I need it because it fucks up the entire template (sigils, infusions etc.pp.); kinda still only want to have 1 character, especially since my second WvW-warrior is suboptimal geared right now, due to legendaries sitting on my PvE-warrior. I also kinda like the idea of going full legendary on the 1 character...don't wanna invest the time to go legendary aswell on a secondary character.
I mean I could break it down to
- BS/Power DPS (Axe, Axe / Mace, Mace)
- Condi
- Spellbreaker
- WvW Zerg Support
- WvW Roaming
- 1 Slot free
but that kinda goes agains the nature of minmaxing to f.e. run the raidvariant of Power BS (assassin shoulder + Spotter = 100% Crit) vs. the Fractal Variant (Assassin Rings + AR stat transformation = 100% crit). In the end the difference probably is almost non existing...
What do you guys think, how do you handle it?

I make it to 22k on a good day at the golem...srsly am i missing buffs or something?What I also noticed...when i play bannerslave my Eviscerate deals ~25k, in full DPS role only 20k...

This makes it very interesting to play in raids/fractals. It can't be able to maintain all boons on max stats (by weapon swapping) tho because that would be way 2 overpowerd. You rather have to choose if you want offensive or defensive boons on that specific time. Offensive boons deals way more dps passively and actively due to the nature of the weapon skills, protecting boons therefore less dps, more heals/cleanses etc.
The concept of a Monk fits well into cantha's theme, I'm not sure if warrior is the correct place to put it tho.

IDK! I can't play it! Yesterday in raids with statics we had to fill uo and some1 wanted to play BS. So I played DPS.I legit deal 2-3k dps LESS as dedicated DPS over playing the BS role.
I DON'T GET IT.
I'm even a bit frustrated since I really only play warrior (dont even have other geared characters) but yet I'm not able to play it differenc aspects well... I also struggle with the condi variant but thats atleast a different concept. But Power DPS over BS? Its almost the same...

Hey guys, I didn‘t read throu the whole thread but couldn‘t find something in the search function aswell.Are there plans to do legendary infusions? I was thinking about a „holder“ or shell for legendary infusions, which then you could upgrade with „normal“ infusions (including visuals) to unlock their stats.
Like that I could completely unlock 20 Infusions of a version (f.e. +5 Power/ +9 AR) and swap between those stats.
Any rumors about that?

Maybe anet wants the bots. Taking the player numbers in sPvP there would be 20min+ queues even for silver/gold players if there wouldn't be bots. Just saying.
- Anet is doing things to fight this...they add rewards (gold income is ridicolous high in sPvP) and force player to play it to get legendaries. Just not enough i guess.

I was reading about a monk spec in another thread and I really got into it. My idea of a great support build as a new elite specc would be a NO WEAPON "Monk" that as an class mechanic can swap between ying & yang (names are optional).

taken the bs slot is taken and I play dps: How exactly am I suppose to use @Outrage? [another question: can I link skills here?]
So when you go for dps instead of banner (which is dps in its own way aswell ofc) I see only two differents in the traits.Discipline: Doubled Standards -> Destruction of the Empowered (makes sense because you don't use banners after all).Berserker: Savage Instinct -> Last Blaze (more DPS due to the mini conditions).
So since you don't play with Savage Instinct (why tho?) and take the mini dps-increase of Last Blaze; how exactly do you break the stun from Head Butt?I first thought: Ok, Head Butt into Outrage into Berserk mode, but that feels like I waste the Berserk Extend of Outrage, which to my understanding, is the biggest dps increase of it all.
How exactly is the rotation? Why don't you use Savage Instinct?

My personal wishlist separated in gamemodes:
10-man PvE:
Open World
Fractals
WvW
sPvP
Just my 5 cents. If only a few of these points get implemented I'm happy 🙂 If the next 1-2 expansions are similar to SotO i might quit tho.
Playing since HoT release with alot of breaks. Still ~2.000 Hours.
