    Honestly, this is not to insult you Trevor, but what do YOU and other people want from Ele? You wanted sustain, hated it, you wanted damage, hated it. What DO you want the class to do so Anet doesn't keep just flip flopping every year or every other year? (Even though Anet hasn't proved they could balance well anyways.) Admittedly, I'm attempting to pick at your brain at this point to understand your ideal vision for Ele.

    well said. Pretty much everyone on this forum. I play all 3 light armor classes, thief and engineer and I've never had a problem with Ele; I still dont. People complain because its not their class

  2. I'm interested in these Scourge changes but I hope you're gonna compensate for the shades going from 20 to 8 seconds.

    Also, taking out boon corruption is like taking out one of the themes of Necro. It's in the class identity to boon corrupt. Yes I get that boon strip is a part of it but it is not as affective as the latter. Please revert the decision to take out boon corrupt. 

     

    Also Harb changes of vile vials? Really?? That's very lazy adding just 2 more stacks of vulnerability. PATHETIC change and it is as if you're going backwards. I welcome the overall CD reduction in PvP and WvW but what about PvE?

    Overall, Necro changes seem to be going backwards and it's sort of bad. Obviously not as bad as Mesmer.

    Catalyst forces decaps in 1v1s and is very strong against melee. The strength against ranged I think is buoyed by the conjured earth shield. Needs toned down.
    Tempest Sharing Shocking Aura is the big problem here, and is even worse when they're stacked. It works as both defense and offense. Shocking Aura needs a nerf - at least the shared version.
    Bladesworn Just not fun to play against. It's very strong in small fights (1v1 or 2v2) and near unkillable. But at the same time, it gets rolled by focus fire in larger fights.
    Herald Ridiculous burst with teleports and lots of evades/survival. It's behaving a lot like mesmer where it unloads a ton of burst, but unlike mesmer, it can keep itself alive between bursts much better, and is far stickier.
    Spectre Not fun to play against. Attempts to burst you then just warps out and can go accost another node if it can't drop you in its burst.
    Daredevil Similar annoyance to spectre, though lacks the burst.
    Harbringer With the nerfs, it's not too bad. It has a burst window with the elite and in shroud with quickness, but that has counter-play by avoiding the burst windows. Shroud graphic needs more of a visual cue.
    Mesmer (all kinds), Soulbeast, Untamed All of these are glass cannons where they burst, then try to stay alive. Some have frustrating moments, but playing against them enough makes them predictable. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the burst toned down in exchange for more interesting play overall.

    Scrapper, Mechanist The rifle auto-attack builds have the same low skill floor like Dragonhunter did at the start. The build carries mediocre players to higher ratings than they would normally achieve based on their skill. But it's a one-trick pony and higher skill players can shut it down.

    I don't see the problem here. Or why is anyone complaining really. It's a good thing that there's more than one spec/class that's good right now. Variety right now is so good compared to other metas when it was mainly dominated by one spec/class.

  4. You need to win a specific amount of ranked games on 3 different classes I believe. I forgot the amount on Veteran but for example let’s say 5 wins on Thief, 5 wins on Warrior and 5 wins on Guardian. 
    When you get to let’s say part 4 for The Ascension achievement (which is the last part), you will need to win 10 games on 3 different classes. 
    ( I believe it is only 3 classes)

  5. Gw2, WoW and SWTOR are the MMOs I like to play depending how I feel throughout the years or months although Ive mainly played Gw2 ever since 2017-18. I love PvP and honestly, unlike those other MMOs, I wish Gw2 had a Battlegrounds like WoW. Definitely not WvW because that's different and obviously we'll have amulets and whatnot. Gw2 has the best combat mechanics out of those MMOs (in my opinion) and I think it'd be great if we get our own Isle of Conquest or Wintergrasp like in WoW. Or like Voidstar in SWTOR. These can just stay in the unranked options of course. 

    I listed those Battlegrounds because they're my absolute favorite. For just a while, let's forget about our own opinions on balance and just think about what else can add to the fun of Gw2. I think this could show retention to the gamemode from the new steam players and vet players. Here's hoping anyways.

  6. I don't really have a main but I would like to say that I don't think Harbinger is all that face roll after playing it myself. In saying that, I honestly think the class has been toned down already to a point where it's bearable to fight 1v1. 

    I wouldn't want this class to become meme tier like mesmer and thief. The community likes to complain to a point where they make a class they don't play obsolete which is just sad. For instance, when Mirage first came out I knew it was overwhelmingly powerful. I abused that in wvw and pvp playing condi I admit. Then the nerfs started coming which you know I didn't mind since I do admit it was just too good. But then they gave it one dodge only, mirage cloak lost super speed, damage was nerfed to oblivion in a series of patches. (Thief is just sad :c)

    Quite sad honestly. Yeah it was OP but it didn't need to be killed. So let's not kill another class haha. Just my 69 cents really.

    But why? I'm literally gonna lose my chance to buy this item. Kinda sadge. I hope there's an explanation as to why this has happened.

  8. Hello peeps

    I was wondering if I am able to use ExitLag without my account being blocked. I am asking this because the last time my account got blocked, people (mostly from reddit and guild mates) speculated it was because of the use of ExitLag. 

    Obviously now all is fine and support got back to me but I haven't been using ExitLag due to the fear of being blocked again. I live in New Zealand so ping is an issue for me.

  9. Mesmer has already been nerfed in core traitlines already and some of you in this thread want more? L2p issue. Did you guys know the dodge button exist? Blocks exist too. I'm pretty sure that you'd be able to hypothesise when a mesmer is about to do it's combo. You guys have eyes don't you? So I'm pretty sure you'd be able to see them start their burst. Stop trying to make mesmer as useless as thief. It needs some way to at least make a dent in the meta. One last thing is that you must be pretty bad if you die to a cookie cutter build like a mesmer.

  11. Hello. About a week ago (so it should be Sunday 2nd of June or Monday 3rd of June depending on where you're from), I transferred from Gate of Madness server to Henge of Denravi server. I play World vs. World a lot and I WAS told that during that match, I would not receive any pips for the Wood Chest, Silver Chest, etc. Those chests. Anyways, it's 11th of June now and I thought by now I would be receiving pips; however, I am not. What I want to be answered is that: would I have to wait a longer time for me to receive the ticks (like is it actually 2 weeks rather than the 1 week I was told) or am I bugged? I forgot who HoD was up against last week (I only remember Dragonbrand), but this week it is Anvil Rock as green and Fergusson's Crossing as Blue. Hopefully, this is concise for you all so that I may get a clear answer.
