[Guild Wars 2 Launcher issue since latest update (19 JUL 2022)]

Good morning. I was having the same issues that everyone seems to be reporting. Run the installer from Lutris (tried with both), download the ~75MB file, then crash. Repeatedly.

This morning I tried another tactic. I downloaded PlayOnLinux, and I got the same result - on wine version 4.04. But after going into the game config and downloading then selecting wine 6.17-staging, the install went through successfully, and I was able to log into my game and am now downloading the game files.

Got to the point where Lead Scientist Kostya gives up, but died immediately after that. Now the gate is closed with Braham inside, and Rox and I cannot get back in.
