Any resolution? I am having the same issue with a new AMD system. Having reinstalled the game and drivers a few times and no luck. Always crashes when using the trading post about every third or fourth time. Also it's a CoherentUI error.

Maybe they should do the same thing with ranger pets and have them despawn and go on a cooldown. The other option would be to disable mounts entirely and level the playing field? (yeah never going to happen)

I payed for expansion to be able to use mounts, not to run around of foot.

I was hoping this was fixed by now so I submitted a bug report. Now it seems it's not a bug! This is by design? What a deal, my main is an mm and it's just unplayable now. So now we run across the map with minions aggro'ing everything and putting us in combat while everyone else uses mounts?

Not that this is something that I care about one way or the other. However, assuming anet monitors the forum there should eventually be an official stance for those that do. Until then there's really no way to tell and it's all just rumors.
