  1. I dont know what was "fixed" this time, but now the queue bug is different: You queue, wait as the queue drops, then at queue spot 1 or 2 it will be just stuck. There wont be a pop up window, nothing. I waited 45 mins for EB queue 1 (I queued at spot 45, it dropped constantly). Then requeued, and the numbers dropped and dropped and I got in within 10 mins back from spot 45.

     

    Can this PLEASE be fixed, it is so kitten annoying when you have only a few hours per week, but you need to spend it in queue for half the time because it constantly bugs out.

  2. Warrior now lost one of its last AoEs:

    • Scorched Earth: Reduced the number of targets from 5 to 3 in WvW only.

    Why? Seriously, we already lost GS F1 burst for Berserker, why take away the last skill that isnt a projectile based AoE? The damage has been tuned down already. This class is already in such a kitten place right now, why make it worse?

    Problem is that with the removal of the stun it means you need to charge the Dragon Trigger to gain value on the skill because if you don't charge it the damage is very bad and that's assuming they don't have the brain capacity to dodge when there's literally a smoke explosion before the slash. when charging you are so kitten vulnerable, and the only things you have to protect yourself is the aegis and shortkitten blink that are both on an absurd cooldown, and what's worse is if they have a brain and saves the burst damage or CC to when you charge DT then you'll be forced to dodge which also wastes your time charging it and DT goes to CD at 0 charge

    its counterintuitive logic that could easily be fixed but they choose not to. 

    my fix is 

    1. give Dragon Trigger's Flicker Step(blink) no  charge but has 1 sec CD, and also a very short evade window like 0.25s(so its actually a skillshot). when you use DT your current spot is saved(this way you don't become a decap bot) and create a huge zone where you can flicker step at 1s cd unlimitedly as long as the cd is done if its too strong give it like a separate stamina bar, so they can't spam it like crazy.

    2. if you go with that buff better nerf unyielding mountain

     

    Dragon trigger skills are absolutely useless now if not fully charged. Even then gunsaber skill 3 or 4 can hit more than dragon trigger skills fully charged. This state is just braindead

  4. Regarding the nerfs to bladesworn in WvW the last half year, this really hit this whole class hard:

    • no more stun on any dragon trigger skill, with zero compensation in regards to damage
    • dragon trigger skills are delayed now, which makes Dragon Slash—Boost (Dragon Trigger skill 2) absolutely useless regarding mobility

    Bladesworn has a ton of skills that are extremly slow with a sluggish animation. Just look at the gunsaber autoattack, it is hilarious.

    In WvW, it was only useful in roaming, as a niche counter to thief and ranger. Now it has been nerfed to the ground. The Trigger skills are predictable, so removing the stun was one of the most idiotic things to do. A fully charged Dragontrigger 1 does maybe a third of the damage that holosmiths overheat does (we have people hitting 30-35k). Note that overheat is an automated passive attack with no animation, dragon trigger can be easily avoided or interrupted. This is not a rant against other classes that overperform, just a rant about the constant nerfs of a class that has potential and was fun to play. I get the healing nerfs regarding spamming shouts to perma heal, that was justified. But removing the damage capabilites completly plus adding the extra long animation was just plain dumb.

  5. The WXP Mini-Booster (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/WXP_Mini-Booster) has a duration of 15min. If you activate 8 of them, you will be a 2 hours. Any additional activation of the booster above 2 hours will consume the booster, but NOT increase the duration unlike every other booster. I lost dozens of them, support restored them. But still, you can not stack it beyond 2 hours. You dont get a warning, you dont get the booster back, nothing, you just lose them.

  7. Since this is an old bug that still hasnt been fixed, though reduced outside of the WvW Beta. During this WvW Beta the queue bug is more apparent:

    1. Queue for a full map
    2. Once the queue window pops, you press "travel"
    3. Then instead of porting to the map, it just says "Borderland X/Eternal Battlegrounds are full, do you want to queue?"

    How is this bug still a thing? I often wait 1-2 h to join the proper map, and already have to hope that there are no gamebreaking gliders, etc. Now you dont even get the chance to get a random disconnect while having fun, you get denied to even experience this.

  8. Anyone else has their Alliance Guild completely distributed along several servers? What is this? How can it be that after YEARS of development, this beta is even worse than others? Are we progressing backwards?

     

    Edit: Thanks for ruining 3 weeks for people that main WvW.

    Edit2: since my raidguild is enclosed in this alliance, we cant even raid for those weeks. Thanks Anet.

    interesting. Tried replicating it with my keyboard, and the issue didnt occur. Seems like my Logitech G305 mouse with additional buttons for the burst skills does not send the "holding button" signal, only the "button pressed and released" signal instantly. Gotta check how to resolve this.

     

    Edit: The key assignment in the logitech software was set on "macro" using that key, switched it to "button" with the same key, now it all works. That was an easy fix.

  10. The option "Fast with range indicator" to cast ground targeting skills normally let you press the assigned key for the skill, whilst pressing the key you can change its position, upon letting go of the key the skill is casted.

    This does however not work with the following ground targeting skills:

    I have not tested this with other classes yet, but those skills are casted instantly on pressing the key, not on release. Repositioning or even checking wether a ledge can be targeted is impossible.

     

    Edit: other warrior skills with ground targeting work as intended and let you adjust the skill target while pressing the assigned key.

     

  11. Since several loading screens indicate polearms I made this post quite a while back:

    There are enough skins from spear that can be used, a more realistic way would be to allow warrior to wear the underwater weapon on land. But as previous comments already mentioned: that could be a lot of work but I dont think it is impossible.

    Another possibility would be to let warrior use staff, but add a yellow/orange holographic spear animation when skills are used similar to necros scythe.

     

    Personally I think making the underwater weapon possible on land could be work, but be really fun in the end and still quite fit those loading screens. Underwater spears already have implemented skins, nothing have to be reinvented. Engi could get harpoon on land etc.

  12. The blueprints for objective tactics in WvW can not be spammed by hand to add them to your guilds storage. Every time this message pops open:

    Good luck having stacks of skirmish chests lying around and wanting to chose the tactics to add to your storage.

    It seems like this error message plus the timegate is rather for activation of said tactics, not for storing the tactic.

    Yes my Rapid Fire ability takes at least 2.5seconds to cast, and can easily be dodge, blocked, reflected etc. Honestly bored of seeing every other class in the game get insane ranged damage that is dealt instantly, while Ranger is left behind. One would expect that since "RANGE'" makes up 90% of the name "Ranger", the class would be ranged, but it's not. 😕

    Gunflame warrior isnt even a good roaming build. It is a fun build that makes you super squishy if you want to pull those numbers plus if warrior is out of signet of might, everything can be reflected. Also the cast-animation is so obvious. Cant decide if this is a troll post or not. I play Gunflame warrior and since it seems that you play ranger, it is clear that you are trolling. I sometimes give ranger a try to figure out how to beat them, and even with zero experience this class is superior to gunflame and can easily counter it on almost every build both in range or melee since you got plenty of CC and dmg while having superb sustain.
