  1. Tried another and I'm outta here. It's the same old Anet. Death is assured not through bad play but simply through the decision to enter combat. It's like the old Orr at penitent you get hit for 24k out of the blue by a chicken no tell no way to avoid--you simply erred by entering combat. I've had enough of this, I like games that require skill not players to revive you. Have fun with it guys.

  2. Have played since beta and have fallen in the habit of doing the WB. Just did the FE and can't count the number of downs. I won't be back again. It's assured destruction now. Will try the others but probably will just quit at this point. Vanilla was one of the best games I ever played. HoT was a hell simulator. Never went there except for pets. No real interest in the game anymore: just one bad decision after another.

  3. Yeah, in PvE, which is all I play, not so much. It seems especially with the CC/Stability/stunbreak nonsense they have simply made gameplay worse. I don't see how you get around this; it's a straight-up nerf that affects the game by making it less fun to play. Generally, this is something you simply don't do as you evolve a game. The game should always be improving and becoming more fun to play.

I've heard some say don't worry this is simply a stepwise process. Let me offer an alternative. 1) Decide where you want to go; 2) Take steps in that direction, improving the game incrementally. I know it sounds simple and, in fact, it is.

  4. In all games I play I always set camera to "use free camera" or whatever is the equivalent. It is disconcerting to have my view snapped back and forth when I rotate my camera. This doesn't work on mounts in GW2. It does work on mounts in other games I play. I would like mounts to work exactly like everything else with respect to free camera.
