If you idle with a greatsword unseathed, your wrists seem to break in a very painful way.

    Ow

Not sure when this started happening, but I'm pretty sure it's recent.

    Just a small update:

Charr still can't use greatswords without breaking their wrists.

I figured it might be a little more obvious to see with a short video.

  2. Honestly, I'm not sure if this even counts as an "Art" issue anymore.

This transcends mere art, and is almost reaching the levels of "long charr".

Charr now turn into liquid, when they use the zipline riding animations. Gliders that use the animation also work.

Seems to trigger only after existing in a map for a while. Doesn't happen on every glider/zipline use, unless there's enough time between them.

Very reliably reproduced, by just waiting a bit (few minutes at most) before using a zipline.

They told me I could be anything, so I became a garbled mess.

Also happens with the riding broom novelty item, so you can do it on the ground.

PS. Charr also still break their wrists, if they idle with a greatsword unseathed.

About two weeks ago I posted a thing about charr breaking their wrists if they idle too much.

Well... It seems the problem is getting worse, and now charr are turning into liquid or something, if you idle too much. Actually you don't even need to idle. Just exist and do whatever, then use a zipline after a few minutes.

Also happens with gliders that use the  same animation as riding a zipline.

Maybe they should just be put out of their misery at this point.

    End their suffering.

    1. Players need to stop buying chairs, you gain nothing its useless. No chairs no complains
    2. Anet need stop selling chairs. Its useless , there is not lore behind a chair , dont tell me have chair is your ''endgame'' having fun. This need to stop.

That is an incredibly selfish way of thinking. Just because you don't like chairs, doesn't mean that others can't like them.

What you said can be applied to literally every cosmetic item in the gemstore, and a bunch of other things.

Imagine if ANet solved the asura/charr/norn armor clipping issues by simply not making any more new armor for those races. Or even better, they could just delete those races completely. Then people couldn't complain about already existing armor either!

That means they could be changing the chair, so they wouldn't have to refund me.

That, or they are just very slow with my ticket, even though a bunch of other people got their refunds already.(It was wednesday in Seattle when they got my ticket.)

They do have a tendency toward long response times unfortunately, but this would be the kind of situation they'd normally allow a refund, even if there are scaling changes being worked on. There's nothing to stop you buying it again if they fix it.

I just find it odd that some people got their refund in less than a day, and mine is taking at least 3. (Not counting the weekend days.)

You know this as fact? It would be that simple? Not saying that I agree with the management of the complaints here, but do you really know this is true?

Well I think it's quite clear now. Merged with the thread where timestamps are frozen.

  8. I don't really see any reason why they would even freeze the timestamps. The discussion would have died at some point anyway, that always happens.

If this is intentional, it's just going to start an entirely new discussion, and it's going to make them look even worse.

@Kanok.3027 said:The sheer amount of tinfoil hat in your comments...nope. Simple fact of the matter is, you all took one look at the artwork, assumed you could do that pose, when it was never specified you could, called false advertisement and attack anyone that doesn't see it your way. Obviously, you are far too stubborn to see any kind of rational reasoning, so I'm going to stop here. I had my laugh, I'm glad they did this to show how much of a joke this whole debacle was. Later tater.

People are complaining more about the size and not the sitting stance. You're the one with a tinfoil hat.

To be fair, people are complaining about both.

  10. @"nerfworthy.9618" said:Has anyone reported this as a bug? It doesn't seem to be scaling correctly to character size... If this is intended, then big yikes from me.

It's most likely intended, since the pose "matches" the size of the chair.

As dumb as it looks, that has been the usual pose for all of the previous chairs, that are also too small. A lot of people have complained about it, but ANet doesn't give a damn.

If the chair was indeed meant to be that big, but was scaled down because of a bug, it would still use the Dhuum chair animation, as was advertised.

This excuse is silly. None of the previous chairs are big enough for charr. Now even the charr chair is too small for charr.

Scaling everything down to human size =/= making things fit all races.

I'm tired of always being an afterthought.

  12. @zealex.9410 said:Diff in size aside, why is the charr's pose so scuffed?

Because all the chairs are too small for charr. I was thinking that this one might be an exception, but...

It looks like he's going to fall out, and is struggling to stay on the chair.

Or he's stuck and is trying to get out of the chair... Either one works really.

@Sera.2146 said:Different advertised chair size, different advertised pose. That is indeed false advertising...

Perhaps the characters a different size, and besides, it's a representation of the item, not the actual item for sale...isn't that what preview is for(and if not, then something is wrong with the preview, since everything else shows it the items on your character or your character using it), so you can see what it would look like on your character?

You can only preview the item itself. No way to preview what your character looks like when sitting on it, so even the size is kind of ambigious.
