  1. Vindicator always has access to support skills - not saying that a DPS oriented vindicator is strong at supporting but it does have access to it. Also remember that vindicator, especially the greatsword wielding one, was supposed to be the AoE version of a power revenant.

  2. While it not being a ground-targetted skill like wells can certainly be seen as a bummer, Plaguelands is the strongest elite skill for condition based necromancers that aim for damage over utility. Full trailblazer's should get you way more than 11.5 seconds of bleed from the first pulse on. More like 15 seconds for >2.4k on each of its pulses. It's an offensive area denial skill for those that have their boon denial covered by non-elite skills and/or traits.

    (Here's the build I'd be referring to: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PSwAsiZlVwEZfsMGJWsTureA-zVJYkR3fpkToEbCmcE0RRJ8BIc/aUw0GA-w )

  3. Dread is a damage loss to Close to Death, Curses is worse power than Soul Reaping (also you'd lose out on Deathly Perception) and Decimate Defences is potentially a damage loss to Soul Eater. While one can agree that supplying one's own fury is a non-issue for team PvE, OWPvE still is one of the most played if not the most played game modes and this is where the original poster's topic probably comes from. No solution given in this thread so far is a usable solution for the original poster and thus I agree, reaper cannot properly grant itself fury (in these circumstances) and should, therefore, be given options. Preferably accessible in Soul Reaping (how about, akin to Soul Barbs, having it apply X seconds of fury upon entering and leaving shroud?).

  4. I'd rather they do not revert it. The shortbow, whilst mechanically interesting and aesthetically appealing, fails in practical use. Bloodbane's Path tends to miss predictably moving foes (let's not mention how awful it is versus those moving erratically). Sevenshot only had the chance for 100% damage if you were exactly at maximum range. If you were further away, then you get 0% (unlike many other projectile skills that can benefit from arcing). And if you were closer, it could hit for like 0~14%. It sucked, it was useless in most practical situations. Spiritcrush may sound like some neat breakbar damage coupled with burning but it doesn't hit fast enough for anything not immobile to suffer from it. And lastly, all it takes for Scorchrazor to miss is a simple strafe. In the end, the shortbow is a weapon that can only work if you target doesn't move. And guess what, it lacks any kind of soft CC and has only one weak, easy-to-miss, slow-moving and projectile-based hard CC. It looks good but it is terrible to use. Be happy that now it has at least a chance to damage with its signature skill.

  5. Chiming in as well; a big thank you for this one. It has an unbelievable amount of 4 (!) dye channels, is a marvellous gift to go with the celebration and fits a human soldier profession with the Hall of Monuments reward skin (a.k.a. Fiery Dragon Sword), the Kryta's Embrace and the heritage armour so well! wub
