Person JD 2 weeks ago said we have done A and B (patch notes). Then said we will provide the reasoning and strategy behind change A and change B. Today we get more of we have done A and B.

  2. - Boonstrip is on a too high CD and less accessible than its alacrity renegade counterpart. Would require an engineer to bring mines/boonstripping sigils which is a hinderance.

     

    - An ammo system of 2 on the teleport would be nice.

     

    - The Mech's F skills are all on a too high CD. This is not good since we already dont have access to our regular toolbelt skills.

     

    - The Mech's attacks are mainly single target. Would be better to make Mech's attacks massive 5,000 AoE to ensure the janked AI Mech doesnt miss an attack 

     

    - The Mech should have the same boons as the Engineer. The mech counting as a 6th person is really yikes.

     

    - Mace is weak.

     

    - More power damage is always welcome. 🙂

    Catalyst gameplay feels clunky, slow and makes me want to take another weapon other than hammer - but in doing so effectively turns Catalyst into core ele (with a discount, semi-functional gyro) 

    The jade sphere feels inconsequential to use for the time cost it requires to power it up (both for dps and support builds), the traits are meh. 

    Ultimately, the gameplay is unrewarding and makes me question my choice to play Catalyst, and ele at large, when other classes can output dps and boons/support far better than Catalyst, with more rewarding and fun gameplay. At its core, elementalist gameplay is known for being glass cannon, high risk, high reward, and complex in style. This takes everything that elementalist is and throws it out the window, in the worst way possible. 

    edit: forgot to mention the utilities - that's how insignificant they were to the spec. The utility skills add nothing to the class - not for dps or as support build, nor my enjoyment of the catalyst.

  4. After opening Guild Wars 2, my internet disconnects/shuts off. Internet disonnects either right after opening Guild Wars 2 or 1-10 minutes after loading in and playing.

    Its only with Guild Wars 2.

    Anyone else having this issue?

    Things I've tried:

    • Turned off/turned on router after 30 seconds
    • Reset router
    • Repaired/Reinstalled network drivers
    • Used -Repair parameters in client target
    • Flushed DNS
    • Renewed DNS
    • Released DNS
    • Removed overclocks in BIOS
    • Used multiple different SSDs
    • Reduced polling rate on mouse
    • Rebooted PC
    • Used Google DNS 8888/8844
    • Tried running in compatibility mode
    • Tried running with administrator privledges
    • Disabled Firewall
    • Disabled Antivirus
    • Forwarded Ports

    I'm running OC'd Ryzen 1600 4.0 ghz @ 1.3v, OC'd GTX 1060 to 1070 base clocks @ +90v offset, OC'd Corsair Vengeance 3400mhz CL 14 ram

    I've been playing for 8 years and this is the first time this has happened. o: halp pls

    I get different error codes.

    Calling my ISP tomorrow. If nothing works, I'll buy a new adapter and test.

    Please revert this change immediately.

    You cannot CC, you cannot heal, you cannot use pulls, you cannot use traited toolbelt skills, you cannot give yourself superspeed to run away from mobs, you cannot use emergency stealth, you cannot use condi clear, you cannot stunbreak, YOU CANT DO ANYTHING IF YOU OVERHEAT LITERALLY

    FIX IT!

    This poorly written change right here has killed power holosmith. Out of curiosity, I decided to see how long it took once blowing up before you could activate forge again. It is 16 seconds. That's how long it takes. No grenade barrage. No Toss Elixir S. No Surprise Shot. No Blade Burst. No Prismatic Singularity. All of the extra damage and defenses of the toolbelt skills gone for 16 seconds.

    Not only that, but during Samarog CC phase and Matthias sacrifice... we cannot help CC at all if we've overheated LOL

    If were taking too much damage, we can't use our F1 at all.

    We can't use Superspeed,Toss Elixir U, Toss Elixir S, Toss Elixir R to run/hide/res from mobs once we've overheated.

    We can't use our Prismatic Singularity pull if we've overheated and lots of adds/mobs are attacking us LOL

    We can't use anything. It killed the spec as a whole.

    • Ability to lock items in Shared Inventory Slots. (If you equip then unequip something that was in your shared inventory slot, it goes back to the slot you initially equiped it from. Useful for weapon swapping.)

    • Increase max Shared Inventory Slots to 32.

    • Allow Soulbound items to be stored in Shared Inventory Slots.

    • Dungeon Portal Device (Teleports you to whichever dungeon you want.)

    • White mantle portals not sharing the same cooldown so you can have multiple.

    • Bring back Twilight Arbor Forward Up Dungeon.

    • Allow Nuhoch Warbler to be used in all instances including raids because music matters. <3 :)

    • Endless Makeover Kit.

    • Invisible Chest Piece.

    • Infinite Revive Orb (Usable in all instances EXCEPT raids.)

    • Salvage-o-Matic Container (Stores all salvage-o-matics.)

    • Remove diminished returns in dungeons.

    • Increase dungeon rewards to what they were before nerf.

    • New dungeon recipies/armor/ascended armor/etc.

    • Bring back all past 2012-2018 special events/side stories and allow players to choose only one they wish to complete for achievement points.
