  1. House Zu Heltzer track plays over itself at a slight delay , I've noticed it since launch. I wouldn't have posted here but I reported it a couple of times already, and it can get kind of annoying once you notice it.

I very much doubt a barrel role on a dragon be something that could be copyrighted or trademarked.  It is just too general of a concept - as are dragons and dragon like critters themselves.  The only things that make the skyscale actually unique is that it can not stay in the air without losing height over time and its annoying habit of clinging to every vertical surface, neither of which appears to be something wow copied.

It's not the concepts we are talking about, it's that they have the same exact animations. I think the concepts you are talking about would be comparable to how TF2's Medic creates a healing beam with a Medi gun while OW's Mercy uses Caduceus staff or how OW's Genji throws Shuriken while Paladin's Maeve throws daggers. As similar as they are it's not an issue because they take those concepts and add their own animations so it wouldn't matter.

  3. Of course it looks bad, they did the same thing they did with Istan, colors that make you nauseous and a thick blue/white fog everywhere that limits your vision. I would probably like both a bit more if they were seperate new maps, but it seems like they are just inferior versions of older maps that were   aesthetically superior. Cantha had a unique feel to it I can't explain and so far from everything I've seen including concept art, they haven't hit that mark again which is sad because they usually do environments so well.

  4. Finally found an old thread talking about it. So I also was wanting to ask these questions for a long time. Although I'm not sure why I didn't. Anyways, it has always confused me as to why they removed the Claw's wings from getting blown off during the second phase of the fight. I can't even seem to find out exactly when they changed this either. But more importantly, I've done this fight hundreds of times since launch, and the one other problem I've noticed was that Arenanet also made the Claw's screeching and roaring way less audible then it used to be. Most noticeably again, during the second phase when it blows players back. I just want to finally get some closure on this.

  5. I think Sunqua has some nice foliage in a couple areas, and the lava while not as hot looking as the other maps you mentioned does look unique. But you are right. I thought it was odd that the temple structures(which there aren't really that much of) were made of stone and pretty much blended into the surrounding environment, giving it that bland look to me. I think it gets that heart of the mists map design because its a fractal, and I guess a lot of fractals incorporate that "floating island" look these days. Overall though I don't think that it looks anything like Sunqua Vale from Factions.

In the prologue when we follow Bangar a little ways into Shivepeaks pass, why did he even feel the need to go that way with his army if the whole point of the Forging steel vison was to for Ryland's warband to create a supply line through that said area to get closer to Jormag.

Guess because Bangar knew, he can lead his whole army including heavy equipment over the pass, while leading it through the old unknown ruins would have been a much higher risk.Exploring another possible supply-line also makes sense, in case the main line is cut off.

Yeah that's true, thanks again for your replies!

  8. I feel as though we might get some of this in IBS. I know most wouldn't agree but the thought of another Tangled depths type map with dwarves in the depths of Tyria makes me really giddy. Also I know we already got to see some of the Stone Summit, but I'm still crossing my fingers that we will see more of them too.

I'm guessing you play ranger right? OP's post feels a whiny, but for the most part I do not think he's wrong, atleast with damage and healing.I have 85 hours on my only ranger character over the last 2000 days. Roughly half of that is world completion. I have 7900 hours on my account.

So guess how close to correct you are.

Are you implying that I should of already known how many hours you had on ranger? I guess what I meant to ask was if it was your main. That's why I made a "guess" not a statement. And I guess you where wrong.Well actually the thing is I can't read minds like everyone else yet, hopefully I can evolve soon and catch up.
