So my buddy and I haven't really played since release or so. We got to 80 and then never really experienced endgame. We have been on FFXIV for 9 years and looking for a change. We still have our 80s but looking to start fresh, and looking for a Guild that would be willing to play with new/learning players.

Here is a guild ad I post....have a look and see if its of interest. We do something 7 days a week at this point now 🙂

 

NA [CBo] Crimson Blackout is an easy-going WvW focused guild that loves to fight and is very active, we also play other game modes. We are based on Sorrow's Furnace server. We have regular class trainings and even 1 on 1 class trainings with our experts if needed. We are a very open, inclusive and respectful guild, where all are welcome.
We officially raid Monday, Wednesday, Friday (9pm cst) and Saturday at 6h00 (pst), 7h00 (mst), 8h00 (cst) or 9h00 (est). We have also started a Sunday night in WvW to help beginners and focus on the fundamentals. Tuesdays and Thursdays are now PvE nights where people play and learn raids, strikes and fractals. You are under no obligation to run every night, but ideally, we would like you to run at least 2 nights a week with us in WvW. We are more than happy to help new guild members get their Warclaw mount also. We also run random nights like Necro night, Ranger night, just something to have a laugh and a bit of craic with.

Hi ChuckleFanny 🙂
The server you are on is per each individuals account, and only really matters for grouping up for World vs World at the moment. Even though it is fun to play that game mode with your guild and anyone else on other servers (home worlds), you can still go into it yourself and group up with commanders in the maps themselves.

Not long ago ArenaNet enabled a beta period of "World Restructuring", which enabled guild members to align with other guild members to be able to group up together for WvW. Highly anticipating this happens again... very soon!!

I'll throw you a guild invite, and you can go from there 🙂

Unsure if you are still looking for a guild or not, but if so, you're welcome to check out Clair De Lune [Luna]. We are a PvE focused guild. Our goal is to teach folks all about GW2 by running raids, strikes, fractals, answering any questions you may have, as well as getting to know everyone by doing social events like fishing, drunk nights, arcade nights, etc. We are a night-owl guild as well, so our events can take place anywhere between 8PM (reset) to Midnight EDT.
