bog queen scaling seems overtuned?

I want to preface this by saying I've only does this event a few times so others experience may be different, but at least to me it feels like the number of maggots you have to squash gets way too high with more players I was with a full squad of 50 plus people not in squad and the maggots always instantly died on spawn but each maggot squash event took so long that less than a quarter of the necrotic essence bar was left to be filled when she died. Compared to when I did it with a smaller group where the bar was like half full and the maggots didnt take longer to kill than the boss. As anyone else felt this way? I dont card about the boss getting the essence bar high, but it only gets so high because the maggats take so much longer to finish, instead of any scaling always having a high bar.
