what is the species of the new janthir ducks?

Hello! i'd love to know what the new ducks that got added in janthir (which is great, finally there's some representation for an often overlooked animal and, for some, pet :P)  species is. I have some species that it cannot be, like for example it cannot be a mallard (they lack that classic brown stripe across the eye) or a monocolor species such as a pekin or cayuga.

i am thinking that they could be muscovy (since they can range from totally white to totally black, or any in between mix of the two - and i also own them and some looked just like that), but i'd like to know what duck species anet used as a model.

And by the way, why did they call them "ducks" instead of a more fitting name like duckling or duck chick?
