Relic of Rivers and Mirage Cloak interaction

I was playing Mirage in the open world and was pretty bummed to learn that the "issue" with the interaction between Relic of Rivers and Mirage Cloak got changed/"fixed".
Relic of Rivers states that at the end of your dodge roll you gain regen and alacrity.
Mirage replaces its dodge roll with Mirage Cloak so in my opinon Mirage should benefit from the relic from every instance of Mirage Cloak as it is the dodge roll Mirage uses even if activated via a deception skill or the two clone shatter trait.

 

Would like to see the change reverted.

As a WvW player who has been using an alac Mirage for a while now, I'm expecting they'll nerf the relic. I'm not about to ask them to buff it for the benefit of one particular Elite Spec, especially the one that already gets alacrity from "dodging." If they put a harsh cool-down on the effect it won't matter how you trigger it.
