Resetting collections

Hello,I had some collection unlocked and two items done. After a few weeks it got locked and one of the items I had sold so it wasn't in the collection anymore once I unlocked it. Is it intentional and I should hoard everything untill I complete the collection or is it a bug?Regards

Once you get the item it's unlocked in the collection, this must be a bug. I tend to either sell or toss the item, once it pops up as unlocked.

I had two spoons and the collection unlocked, I sold one and after a few weeks I had to buy the unlock from a vendor and I have only one spoon in the colletion.

That's definitely not intentional. You may want to submit a support ticket and ask someone to look into it. Be as clear as you can about when you originally unlocked the collection and when you noticed that it had reverted.

Yep, not intentional. Once the item is unlocked in the collection you can get rid of it (unless it's also used for something else). The items used to reveal/unlock hidden collection (Heirloom Box comes to mind) usually shows a warning telling you already unlocked it (in fact, it puzzles me you are still able to purchase some of them again... anyway...), possibly as you used the item to unlock it again you triggered some bug that reseted it. For sure submit a ticket to Support, they will help you to restore it if possible.
