Ridged Coastal Griffon Egg Item & achievment

Hello! I was doint the open skies achievments, and I went for the Ridged Coastal Griffon Egg, but when I picked it up nothing happened. I did not get the Achievment, nor did I mounted up on a griffon. I tried to log in and out, also with other characters, but the nest is now empty, so I can't get the achi. I went ack to the Griffon sanctuary, and I was able to put all the eggs down (even the one that I did not get), but I wasn't able to progress with the mission. The other things which are neccecary are complited now.
