ZhouX.8742 Posted July 23, 2018 Share Posted July 23, 2018 Mesmer / Ranger , they're pretty much needed in any end game raid , mirage is a top class in pvp atm and while they see nerfs, their unique mechanics will always allow them a spot in every game mode, including WvW. Ranger is basically a heal bot because there's better classes that can do dps (like revenant now) better. Condi ranger isn't bad though. For pvp , ranger soulbeast is an alright roamer, holo outperforms it though in this role and it no longer can side node so you essentially are stuck in a role that can be played better by another class, so it's down to preference really in this regard. Revenant is good in PvE with the last patch (near top in DPS) in PvE and power rev in PvP is really good when played right, but has a much higher learning curve than ranger or mesmer overall.
