Theme: in far away north, regions too frozen for any natural life to reside on the snowy surface, beneath the snow a civilization lives. Quite some time ago several groups of Charrs, Norns and Yetis tried to independently pass through Shiverpeak mountain range, but due to harsh weather and natural hazards were forced to seek shelter underground. There they met, and even if hostilities still fueled them, but they were forced to help each other and work together in order to survive in underground ice caverns. Underground world seemed to be vast and dangerous, but eventually these travelers learned to adapt to it and conquer it. Through, many ancient secrets and long lost beings were found in ice. So, new crafts and new powers were developed. Charrs, Norns and Yutis who settled this underground world of ice named it as Howling Kingdom.After quite some time, first Human and Asura explorers managed to reach Howling Kingdom (1 year after current time in the living world), and this lost area of the world was rejoined back into explored map of Tyria. With that new elite specializations became available to those who were brave enough. One of those elite specializations - Reanimator.Reanimator are necromancers who delved into balance between life and death to the extremes being able to sustain their existence for indefinite amount of time. Necromancers who seek powers of Reanimator first needs to be frozen alive and try to maintain their existence while being kept in ice until they manage to attune to this kind of life. Later on, necromancers have to master of ice magic and crafting icy familiars, practice combat arts with various weapons, and that's still just the tip of the iceberg...Reanimators, while a bit similar to reapers, value tranquility and balance as well as prefer to not fight their fights directly, but instead rely on icy familiars and.... The core of reanimators shine as they are able to revive creatures who were frozen in the ice for hundred or even thousands of years. In fact, the leader of their order reanimated creatures similar to demons from the mists, primitive and feral ancestors of current more evolved races and all sorts of other creatures, and bound these reanimated creatures for eternal servitude. Howling Kingdom is essentially ran by the Prime Reanimator as he hold power greater than anyone else in Howling Kingdom.



Adept Minor Trait (Winter's Arms)Unlock Axe for your off-hand, replace your weapon's 3 ability with dual attack and allow you to use Lost abilities.Replace Death Shroud with other abilities and Reanimator's Shroud.

Adept Major Trait Line

  • Major Trait 1 (Primal Golemancy)All of your Lost abilities now will summon 1 Frozen Raptor when used in combat. (Your Frozen Raptors now will look more similar to Flesh Golem)
  • Major Trait 2 (Chilling Skin)Gain retaliation for 4 sec when you inflict chill on an enemy. Cooldown: 20 sec.
  • Major Trait 3 (Tundra Mastery)Your Dual Attacks (and Putrid Mark) will grant you 2 sec of quickness when used in combat.

Master Minor Trait (Temporally Frozen Blood)Gain 5 sec of Frozen Aura when your health drop to or bellow 33% of your maximum health. Cooldown: 30 sec.

Master Major Trait Line

  • Major Trait 4 (Ferocious Icy Beasts)Your Frozen Raptors now spawn with 10 sec of fury and 15 sec of swiftness.
  • Major Trait 5 (Ice in the Blood)Your attacks and attacks against you have 10% chance to grant Frost Aura for you for 5 sec. Cooldown: 20 sec.
  • Major Trait 6 (Quick Winter)Deal 10% more damage while you have quickness.

Grandmaster Minor Trait (Roll Through the Snow)Dodging while in combat will chill nearby enemies for 1 sec. Radius: 300.

Grandmaster Major Trait Line

  • Major Trait 7 (My Familiars)Your Frozen Raptors from now on will be treated as minions and they will last 10 sec longer.
  • Major Trait 8 (Cold Treatment)Take 10% less damage from conditions while you have Frost Aura. Frost Aura will last 1 sec longer on you.
  • Major Trait 9 (Prophet of the Winter)Entering Reanimator's Shroud will grant 3 sec of quickness.


Axe 4 (Fresh Snow)Blast nearby enemies with ice dealing damage to them and chill them. If hit enemy is already chilled, then immobilize them instead.

  • Casting time: 3/4 sec
  • Radius: 600
  • Cooldown: 14 sec
  • Damage: 550 (scales with power)
  • Chill: 2 sec
  • Immobilize: 2 sec

Dual attack: Axe+Dagger (Flying Tundra Axe)Throw frozen projection of your axe at your target dealing damage to your target and slow your target.

  • Casting time: 1/2 sec
  • Range: 900
  • Cooldown: 15 sec
  • Damage: 450 (scales with power)
  • Slow: 2 sec

Dual attack: Axe+Focus (Forceful Shivers)Rip a boon from your target dealing damage to your target.

F1 (Summon Frozen Familiar)Summon a Frozen Raptor (doesn't count as a minion unless you took a specific trait) to attack nearby enemies for 10 sec. Every 4th attack done by one of these raptors will chill.

  • Chill: 1 sec
  • Life force cost: 2000
