Theme: anti-melee, anti-range, anti-boon, anti-healing, anti-condition, anti-power - a tank. Essentially, a major kitten in the kitten for everyone who encounter it.



Adept Minor Trait (Unlock Shield for your off-hand and allow you to use Bane abilities.Replace Death Shroud with Demon's Shadow. It will drain your life force 20% faster than normal.Gain new resource called Furor. You start with 0 Furor and generate it while in combat. F1 becomes Demon Form when you reach maximum Furor.

Adept Major Trait Line:

  • Major Trait 1 (Increase duration of blind you apply by 20%. Inflict 1 stack of poison for 3 sec on enemies you blind.
  • Major Trait 2 (Increase duration of weakness you apply by 20%. Deal 250 (Scales with power) direct damage on enemies you inflict with weakness. Your shield abilities will recharge 20% faster while you are in combat.
  • Major Trait 3 (Inflict 3 stacks of poison for 5 sec on nearby enemies whenever you use your healing ability (or when they start casting their healing ability within range - spvp/wvw only). Radius: 300. Cooldown: 15 sec.

Master Minor Trait (While in combat you will periodically gain aegis every 20 sec. It will last until you black an attack. Blocking a melee attack with aegis will inflict attacker with 1 stack of poison for 6 sec.

Master Major Trait Line:

  • Major Trait 4 (Your critical strikes will have 20% chance to inflict blind for 4 sec (cooldown: 8 sec). Your critical strikes against blinded enemies gain 100 bonus ferocity.
  • Major Trait 5 (Gain 80 bonus precision and ferocity for 2 sec after attacking a weakened enemy. This effect stack by duration for up to 10 sec.
  • Major Trait 6 (Causing damage to an enemy will cause you to generate 10 furor over 5 sec. Stack up to 4 times.

Grandmaster Minor Trait (Entering Demon Form will cause you to regenerate 800 (scales with healing power) health over 4 sec.

Grandmaster Major Trait Line:

  • Major Trait 7 (Your damaging conditions applied on blinded enemies will last 20% longer and deal 10% more damage.
  • Major Trait 8 (Gain protection for 4 sec and fury for 3 sec after you inflict weakness on an enemy (cooldown: 10 sec).
  • Major Trait 9 (The Last Contract)Your Bane abilities will gain new additional effects. Increase all your starts by 3%.

FurorYou can have maximum 1000 furor.Generate 40 furor over 5 sec after being damaged. Stack up to 5 times.While out of combat lose 20 furor every sec.Using one of your healing abilities will reduce your furor to 0.Losing control of your character generates 100 furor instantly.Entering Shroud with 1000 furor will cause you to enter into demon form instead and will consume all your furor (it still counts as shroud). Demon form last for 10 sec and will have separate set of abilities. You do not passively lose life force while in demon form, but all damage you take is still redirected to your life force.



Shield 4 (Throw shadowy image of your shield at your targeted enemy. It will hit your main target and will try to bounce to a new unique enemy. It can't bounce back to the enemy it already hit. This shadowy image will deal damage, inflict weakness and blind with each hit. Inflict poison on critical hit.

  • Casting time: 3/4 sec

  • Damage: 300 (scales with power)
  • Maximum bounces: 5
  • Weakness: 3 sec
  • Blind: 3 sec
  • Poison: 2 stacks for 6 sec

Shield 5 (Gain a pulsing effect granting aegis at certain intervals. While this ability lasts aegis on you will reflect projectiles instead of blocking them. Gain life force every time you reflect a projectile.

  • Cooldown: 40 sec
  • Duration: 8 sec
  • Pulses: 4
  • Aegis: 2 sec
  • Life force gain per reflected projectile: 3%


Demon's Shadow (shroud)

F1 (Enter into powerful version of shroud which increase your stats.

  • Casting time: instant
  • Cooldown: 20 sec
  • Bonus stats: 5%

Shroud 1 (Shadow Rend)Rend your target's soul causing damage. If this ability hit at least 2 enemies, then it will morph into Demon's Pulse for one use.

  • Casting time: 1/2 sec
  • Range: 130
  • Damage: 350 (scales with power)
  • Enemies hit: up to 3

Shroud 1 (Demon's Pulse)Blast all enemies in front of you with shadows dealing damage. If this ability hit at least 3 enemies, then it will morph into Dreadful Scream for one use.

Shroud 4 (Create a mobile shadow storm which will follow you at 100% of your normal movement speed. Enemies inside this storm take damage with every pulse.

Demon Form (shroud)

F1 (Enter into powerful version of shroud. Consume 1000 furor on activation.

  • Maximum number of boons consumed: 6
  • The Last Contract passive: heal yourself for 100 (scales with healing power) every second while this ability is on cooldown.

Utility Bane 1 (Consume some of your health and heal targeted ally (or the closes ally nearby) for percentage of health consumed.

  • Casting time: 1/4 sec
  • Cooldown: 15 sec
  • Range: 600

  • The Last Contract passive: increase your healing power by 100 while this ability is not on cooldown.

  • The Last Contract passive: whenever you gain boon you will also gain 1 stack of might for 5 sec while this ability is on cooldown.

  • Duration: 3 sec
  • The Last Contract passive: take 10% less damage from enemies further than 600 units away while this ability is on cooldown.

  • Casting time: 1/4 sec
  • Cooldown: 10 sec
  • Furor consumed: up to 250
  • Conditions removed: 2
  • The Last Contract passive: gain 20 furor instantly when you are inflicted with a damaging condition while this ability is not on cooldown (cooldown: 1 sec).

Elite Bane (Cause massive rift erupt in targeted location. Enemies in this rift take damage with every pulse and are inflicted with conditions. Dark Combo Field.

  • Casting time: 1 sec
  • Range: 1200
  • Radius: 300
  • Cooldown: 100 sec
  • Duration: 6 sec
  • Pulses: 3
  • First pulse damage: 500 (scales with power)
  • First pulse condition: cripple for 3 sec
  • Second pulse damage: 800 (scales with power)
  • Second pulse condition: weakness for 3 sec
  • Third pulse damage: 1100 (scales with power)
  • Third pulse conditions: blindness for 3 sec; 6 stacks of poison for 6 sec
  • The Last Contract passive: increase all your stats by 2% while this ability is on cooldown.
