Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to get a good feel about what a class plays like before making a character? I tried looking up builds to get an idea but there are a lot of websites out there and it's just hard to tell. Any advice would be appreciated! AdaephonDelat.3890 Posted September 28, 2017 Share Posted September 28, 2017 If you want to test a class you can make one, take it into sPvP and play around with builds/weapons etc at max level. There are training dummies to practice against to help get an idea of a class. If you dislike it you can always delete it and remake it as something else.If you know the sort of thing you like to play then we may be able to offer suggestions on classes you may enjoy to try first. Evolseed.9104 Posted September 28, 2017 Share Posted September 28, 2017 It depends if you like PvP/WvW or PvE. All classes are good in PvE except for Warrior who got super nerfed as Beserker in HoT. Thief is one of my PvE favorites but only after you get specialization with a staff! Favorite PvE classes are: Thief (with staff), Warrior (if you can grin and bare it), Ranger (with a long bow), Necromancer (any weapon) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
