Legendary Weapon Projectiles

There are currently options in the game to turn off special weapon sounds (so they just play the standard sound effects) in the 'Sound' tab of the options menu; however, as far as I can tell, there aren't any options for turning off special animations or projectiles. For example, I really enjoy using Meteorlogicus, but don't particularly care for the special projectiles and would much prefer having the standard ones. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience, and if there was any demand for this sort of functionality. I would really appreciate this being an option.
