[Question] Clarification on trait effects for SB

Hello together,

I have a maybe simple, maybe more difficult question and I hope, someone can help or knows, if it's an intended feature or a bug.When i testes the SB spec i mentioned the following:

When I merge with my pet, I gained some more stat points: +80 to all main stats as well as +150 ferocity.

So, I know, that Pack Alpha and Pets Prowess give this bonis to stats, when you have the Beastmastery trainline active. But also without using this traitline, I gained the bonus stats.

The question: Is this intended?
