[Bug] - The Sacrifice

I've just tried to complete Sacrifice on alt toons and twice couldn't progress - as soon as I get to Balthazar nothing happens; no scenes trigger, no conversations, nothing; spent 5 minutes walking around, trying to unblock anything but can't do anything

edit: thrice now - killed all catapults and officers beforehand, didn't help. Nothing happens when I approach Balthazar

edit 2: found the solution - you need to approach Balthazar from the southside, throught the stairs. If you've got Springer and approach Balthazar from north nothing will happen.
