Please help.

I’m brand new to the game and I just would like some tips to not feel so overwhelmed. All the mechanics feel foreign to me despite playing several mmos for lots of years. I’m not even to lvl 10 yet but the game feels like it does kind of a poor job explaining some of the mechanics like conditions and boons. The tool tips when you level up are okay but not great. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! The game seems awesome so far! Is there a weapon set that is for leveling for each class or do you just play with what you like?

There's no specific weapons just for leveling. A lot of people just use whatever they enjoy or feel comfortable with. As you play the game more and learn about builds then you may gravitate towards weapons that might be more optimal to a certain build.
