Game Not Loading

After the recent patch today, I have been unable to so much as load the sign in screen for the game. It's stuck on the download screen, with "Dowloading 0KB (0KB/sec)" being the only thing displayed. The new patch may have come out, but it never actually updated for me, due to not downloading for some reason.

Clicking on the window shows, without fail, "Guild Wars 2 Game Client is not responding". The only two options are to close the program or wait for the program to respond. I have been trying to get the game to load since the patch was released a few hours ago, one case waiting for the game to respond for an hour.

I'm at a loss for what's going on, and see no other posts concerning this sort of issue. Does anyone have any idea what's going on, or how to solve this?

Edit The game finally started working again. Still not sure what the problem was, though. If this is something that needs to be checked on, okay, if not, moderators please feel free to delete this.
