Continuous disconnects after first one due to high ping

This happened to me multiple times under the same circumstances:

1. I am in Instanced content : first time was lair of the snowmen in December, second time was Slothasor about ten minutes ago on 1/28/19.
2. I disconnect due to high ping. During this time, I have full chat functionality. I know I'm disconnected because everyone else is standing still and if I try to drag items around in my inventory, they fail to rearrange.
3. I select the same character, and enter the same room again because I'm still in the squad.
4. The loading screen for the instance takes abnormally long (A few minutes, when it has never taken more than 10 seconds).
5. I have to restart the game.
6. Now, whenever I rejoin that instance, I will disconnect, even with completely stable ping, within the first minute.

This has happened both with (Lair of the snowmen) and without arcdps.

I have exactly the same problem, and since 01/29 too... I've repaired the client, erased cache, run diagnostics to no avail. I'll submit a ticket.

I've had two client crashes in 12 hours (auto generated crash report to Anet). Once while looting the AB chests post-meta, and once in the SW just ahead of the breach.
