Elite specialization weapon collection

So every collection needs this exotic weapon that you get from drop or maybe some champ bag or something. Any idea does these items have higher drop chance than normal exotics? I just wonder is it total waste of time try to farm one and can for example scourge get weaver 's collection item? Well those items cost about 60g in tp, but it would be nice to get something in this game without spending gold.

You get one when you complete the First Spear collection- so if you have multiple ones you'd like to finish, pick up one that will satisfy two collections (ie if you have a Firebrand, a Mirage and a Renegade, pick the axe from the chest).

Otherwise, it is RNG. I've had one drop from rare unidentified gear and others have had several of them drop. As per usual with these things, it's probably safe to farm for the gold to buy it off the TP. If you do so in the PoF maps, you still have a chance of getting one for free.

Well i don't really need to farm gold. I just want cheap weapons (already got swords so i don't care about skins anymore) and if i need to spend lot's of gold i could just craft weapon that i need.
