  1. there was plenty of lag before these new sentry mechanics were introduced. anyway it wouldn't hurt to tackle both issues with sentry being first since it seems like an easier fix (presumably). True, it's just speculation, but a lot of people told me it's about the server rendering targets that are half a map away from you.Instead of spending the entire Q1 2020 for balancing warclaw, how about looking up that issue too?
  2. That sounds reasonable. Not much of value lost, slowing down damage output - of course if you compare loss of quickness to playing with ridiculous 5s input lags.
  3. FPS is an individual issue, basically a lottery. Saw people complaining about FPS issues back in 2014 on those forums, right there, with 3k$ intel machines. The input lag is on the server side, sadly. Nowadays even 30v30v30 might get you those "skill lags", which is sad, as it wasn't the case til 2016 or so.
  4. Yep, it can be as bad as 5 seconds in dire cases. In the video you have a few situations like that. Not really, no. I can tell you that a normal 40v40 (just two servers) is fine and dandy. The lag starts when the third server runs in, without even casting anything yet. Then you can see everything falling apart. So has to be something wrong with sync. Ironicly this 'herd' of people Just doing this stacking of people and chasing groups have this 'highschool-like sheep-attitude' basicly saying"Whatever i do what i want" There's that thing you can have called preference. You should try it.Some just prefer bigger fights. There's a difference between preference and attitude. You should Google ITSome prefered to do that before a reaction People running in blobs usually have that preference. Not all have the same attitude. Now tell me, how does that relate to the problem at hand?Is fixing the attitude (while leaving the preference alone) going to improve the sync issues? I was starting An attitude problem, you called it preference of me calling out everyone.Dont take stereotypes that seriously, IT would only make your life easier Secondly: if numbers are the main cause of lag maybe, just maybe try smaller scale fights instead...That's not the point, my dude. Smaller scale fights aren't really interesting to me, even if - we've all paid for the game so we expect it to work, don't we? If they allow ~80 people in EBG, the big fights are bound to happen at some point. It's an issue that needs to be fixed, not avoiding larger encounters.

  7. Well, we're allowed to do what we want in this game mode (with certain boundaries made in EULA), so we should expect it to work fine in such situations, as some people simply prefer big blob fights. The issue shouldn't be here in the first place. P.S. pressing 1 at everything will only get you dead in such situation.
  8. Hullo,I'm sure a lot of you are aware of server sync issues (or colloquially called "skill lag") when three servers collide - the game becomes virtually unplayable - especially for a group play. Some consider it a server problem, after the change of em. But it's most likely the fault of syncing. You see, at some point, Arena Net delivered a patch including all the structural updates like watchtower and "marked" system. So technically, whenever that happens, the server has to render players FAR AWAY from you - let's say even on the other end of the map. Since then, the "skill lag" got even worse, compared to what we've had before. It's clearly a syncing problem. It's worth to notice, that it was at acceptable level before. I've put together a video, from some of our raids past two weeks, showing HOW BAD it can get. Also the explanation of the above is around 5:32. To some of you, this might be a common knowledge, but that's not the point. Will it be addressed by Arena Net at all? Or do we have to suck it up and continue to play a dysfunctional game mode? (as this is clearly what we are doing now). WvW has to be treated as a module of a whole product - e. g. if you order a new premade PC and one of the components (modules) isn't working properly, causing the entire thing to run like crap - would you consider it a good purchase? No. Discuss, or do what you will with that information.
