To our surprise, bringing together a group of older players has been more successful than we originally anticipated. We've grown steadily over the past couple of months, and now have regular ongoing conversations happening on Discord, alongside daily GW2 activity, where we join up on an ad-hoc basis to exchange tips, advice and random commentary on in-game festivals, events, achievements, etc. So, the invitation remains open for any older players to join us in our zero-pressure, zero-expectation guild. ABoT is a recently-created guild, aimed at welcoming all Tyrians aged 40 or over (in either body or mind). Our philosophy is that real life comes first. Play whatever build you want, whenever you want, for as long as you want, and drop off if life happens. Zero pressure and zero judgement. If you're brand new to the game, you'll be most welcome here; if you remember the first day dawning over pre-searing Ascalon almost two decades ago, you are equally welcome. We are mostly dedicated to open world and PvE, although dabble in all sorts of content. We have members in both the US and EU, and some of us have accounts on both sides of the Atlantic. But geography is no restriction - all are welcome. And we also have an active Discord server. So even when we're not playing we can keep chatting, making terrible jokes, and sharing screenshots of our most bizarre-looking characters.
